Location was excellent, car parking across from hotel , able to check in at 2pm . Room was clean
Disappointing breakfast like a free for all , no staff around , running out of stuff and only got scramble eggs no fried eggs offered … wouldnot do breakfast again

The hotel is located very close to the city centre and the walls and has a lovely view over the old castle. The staff were welcoming. The room was superb, especially considering that this is a 3 star hotel. Judging by the room only I would have said that it is of a higher class. It was clean, spacious and felt fresh. The staff even checked if we were comfortable in the room after we had checked in, which was very pleasing. If I ever in York again, I would probably select this hotel again.
The main disappointment was the breakfast. Variety is ever so small, there were no vegetables, only one waffle maker with a long queue even though there not so many people in the dining area. Luckily it’s included in the price and not extra

Perfect location right in the centre. The bed was comfy and I liked the little fridge.
The shower was really poor with no pressure to it. The bed was quite small.
