The Mountain Lodge offers the holy grail of resort vacationing: a restaurant and bar, an outdoor patio space, and a year-round, heated pool and hot tubs, while also serving as a great launching point for exploring all that Telluride and Mountain Village have to offer. This condo comes complete with a well-equipped, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining table for six, a living space with a gas fireplace, and outdoor access. Both the king-size primary bedroom and the full-size guest bedroom have en suite baths, with an additional half-bath in the living area. The thoughtful layout ensures privacy and space. The Mountain Lodge is a top choice for great views, access, and year-round amenities. THINGS TO KNOW Reservations are required for the clubhouse and not guaranteed. 'If you're looking for all the perks of resort life, with increased privacy, then this may just be the spot for you! The Mountain Lodge is located just a short walk from the core of Mountain Village where world-class dining, shopping, and Telluride Ski Resort access is located but the Mountain Lodge itself is packed with first-class amenities. Including a restaurant called The View Bar and Grill, as well as an outdoor patio space with cushioned chairs, a year-round, heated pool, and hot tubs. It's literally a resort oasis, regardless of what time of year you plan to visit. So, book this 400-square-foot room with two double beds and a gas fireplace, and take the plunge! The Latitude 38 by Vacasa Clubhouse is a private hangout for our guests. Expect unmatched service at a convenient location, ski lockers, concierge services, a cozy lounge, free WiFi, coffee, and snacks! THINGS TO KNOW There is an Amazon Fire TV stick with streaming and a voice-controlled media player. Due to local rules and regulations, the HOA is only permitting takeout from the Mountain Lodge Bar and Grill. Reservations are required for the clubhouse and not guaranteed. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle. Ski shuttle details: Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. The condo itself is amazing. Exactly what we were looking for. Location can’t be beat as it’s ski in/out. The mountain lodge staff are horrendous. I have never been treated so poorly ever. They didn’t have enough people working the week between Christmas and New Years and apparently thought it was OK to take it out on guests. The F bomb was dropped to me by staff several times. I had a valet all but refuse to get my vehicle. Due to this I simply cannot recommend staying here nor will I stay again. I used to live in Telluride and my family still does live there. Sad to see how this place has gone down hill.

This place has it all. It has great access to the gondola which takes your right to mountain village square or into telluride. It also is very close to a grocery store which is awesome. The place itself is very nice and has everything you could need. The staff is very friendly and works hard to make everything you need available during your stay. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Mountain Village!

Condo was in a great location, conditions were excellent. Plenty of space for 4 adults. The unit is on the bottom floor and there is a lot of noise coming from the unit upstairs. It started at 7:30 am and continued all day (we took 1 day off from skiing) until 11pm. The sounds were of footsteps, running footsteps and furniture moving. The other facilities were very adequate and the shuttle drivers were very responsive. There is slight inconvenience in what amenities are offered through Vacasa vs the lodge itself. Be aware that the lodge does have limited ability in assisting guests staying at this unit. The in-room washer and dryer were phenomenal and watching puppies walk by the window was very fun.

Property could use some updating. The dishwasher didn’t clean very well and the coffee maker didn’t work. Also the bedding in the guest room didn’t have a comforter just a thin blanket.

We loved staying in the Mountain Oasis! Lots of space - loved the floor plan! The kitchen was large and well-equipped. Would definitely stay there again!

We've stayed at this property before and booked directly - had a great experience. This time, we booked through vrbo/Vacasa and it was less so. Anytime we asked the front desk for something (an additional robe, where to take out trash, etc.) we were told that we had to "call the owner," yet there's no one local to call, so you have to email or call the customer service line of Vacasa. I reached out to them on an issue and didn't hear back for 3 days - we were only there for 6. The lack of coordination between the property and the "owner" was extremely frustrating as a guest, and the front desk did not treat us like their guests, even though we went to the restaurant several times, used their valet, etc., i.e., spent money there. The hotel is in a good location, rooms are good (could use some updating, but good) and people were mostly nice.

The unit is located in Mountain Lodge, a condo resort that is one of the older properties in Mountain Village. The lodge is outside the core so residents must walk to the gondola at the grocery store to access the gondola into Telluride. My husband was recovering from a knee procedure so we were very grateful that the lodge offers free van service anywhere in Mountain Village.
The unit is adequate and clean. The furnishings and showers could use an upgrade. A bit tired. The unit is on the ground floor so there is a lack of light as someone else commented. However, it is very convenient with pets as you can let them out the back door for potty breaks. The resort is very pet friendly.
Our issues here related to the property management by Vacasa. Some of the privately-owned residences are not overseen by the lodge but by the Vacasa. There is no one to assist on-site. This also means there are no amenities such as housekeeping and trash pickup. When calling to report any issue, the call is answered by a central phone call center that takes the information and says someone will get back with you. I called Vacasa to find out what to do with the trash (we stayed five days) but no one ever responded. My son left a back pack when we left. I contacted Vacasa twice by phone, paid a $25 fee for someone to go and look for the backpack and no one ever responded to tell me if it was there or not. I even called the front desk at Mountain Lodge to see if anyone could help. The staff was sensitive to my plight but said as they were not the property managers no one could enter the unit. The lack of response by the property management group seems to be a continuing problem.
You can rent directly from Mountain Lodge. We felt like we would have been better off to explore this option even if it meant paying a bit more. It would be worth it to have trash pickup, housekeeping and a responsive staff.
Needless to say, I will not rent from any properties offered through Vacasa again. Whoever owns this property is not being served very well by this property management group.

This place is a great place to use as a home base for a great time in Telluride - Mountain Village.
It is convenient to everything and the amenities at mountain lodge are fabulous!
I would give this place 5 stars however 2 items stick out… 1 controllable and 1 totally out of the control of anyone.
1. It’s a ground floor unit and no matter how many blinds are open or lights are on, it’s always dark…. This isn’t a big factor since we spent limited time in the unit and needed it dark to sleep.
Secondly an issue totally out of control of anyone. The tenants in the unit directly above us for 12 of 14 nights were extremely noisy and walked like the running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain at least 2-3x a day especially in the morning and bedtime. As stated, this was simply bad luck and even after 3 complaints to the GM, it never got better.
Overall, this is a fantastic place for a family of 3 or 4 to have a great time!

Great location, perfect ski in/out for the whole family! It's not so fancy that you're afraid to really relax but a nice retreat at the end of a long ski day. Loved the proximity to grocery store and gondola.

This place exceeded all expectations. The location could not be more convenient. Only a 5 minute walk to the gondola to go to town and was able to ski in/out only 10 steps from our front door. The pools/hottubs are all heated and open till late. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for the perfect ski weekend!

This was our first time staying in Mountain Village and at the Mountain Lodge. The location was excellent directly on the Double Cabin ski run. You just have to walk across the street and hop on your skis and go. The unit was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. The TVs worked well and the kitchen had everything we needed. We will definitely plan to stay here again on future trips to Telluride.
