The room was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Not too far from the city centre if you have a car. Check in and check out were seamless.
There were only 3 pillows.

20/30 minutes from centre, nice room with shared kitchen and really helpful hosts who came to meet us as soon as we arrived. we loved the area of this hotel and the use of the big fridge in the kitchen was a life saver :)
the shower was leaking if our room - this was only a small problem as i think the seal can be fixed quickly. the room was also a bit hot even though we had the air con on and we only got 1 extra pillow to share between us but everything else was fine.

Lovely bright rooms, well decorated with everything you need
Just a bit far out of the centre for us as we have a disabled person with us; but we did know this so it wasn’t a problem for one night.

The price was great. Francesco replied quickly, although in Italian (lack of initiative- Google translate takes 20 seconds). Location was fine, bus or walking distance to centre.
Overall our experience was very disappointing.
Here’s why:
- The lady greeting us did not speak either Italian nor English, only Portuguese. Difficult communication. We arrived in the building and she didn’t even say hello. She seemed in a rush and was not very welcoming.
- We arrived at 9pm to a room of 30°C. The AC had not been turned on prior to our arrival. It took a few hours to cool down the room.
- The tourist tax was supposed to be €12 but we paid €15. This was cash only (not specified prior). We had to read the guidelines and request the €3 back ourselves (which we got). Messy organisation.
- The fridge was disorganised. They could’ve easily attributed one shelf to each room.
- The walls are incredibly thin. We could hear the exact conversations of the girls in the room next to us.
- The bin was tiny, not appropriate for 3 rooms of 2 people using a kitchen.
- The toaster was rusty and sometimes did not turn on.
- There were very limited kitchen utensils. You cannot say you have a kitchen if you have no utensils. No bread knife for example.
- There was mould in the bathroom.
- There were ants in our room and bathroom. We did not have any food in our room.
- The AC seemed like it had not been cleaned in years, and was very loud.
- The only window in the room is a door, which gives access straight to the street. Therefore you can’t leave it open at night / when you leave. Makes it difficult to air out the room.
- Overall, the vibe was cheap trying to seem luxurious and not comfortable.
