My visit was wonderful in every respect. I attended a linguistic conference at the University of Barcelona. The location of Lumine Luxury Suites was very convenient (a 15 minute walk from the University). The apartment is in a very nice, old building on the first floor. It is spacious with a private bathroom and an additional area (sitting/ relaxing annex). The building is old, but thanks to that the rooms are high, spacious and "atmospheric". The location is its important asset. It is located within a walking distance to all important tourist attractions. There are a lot of restaurants, cafes and shops in the vicinity. Despite its central location, the noise from the streets is not coming to the apartments. There is air-conditioning in the apartment. In the case of any problems the reaction of the hosts was immediate. During my stay, there was a problem with the leakage from the air-conditioning pump and the problem was solved immediately. The communication with the owners/hosts was very good, though each time a different consultant was available. I was able to check-in earlier, of which I was notified by phone. The apartment was cleaned every day (immaculate indeed). Extra towels were provided, which is rare. The place is worth recommending.
The instructions for checking in and for locating luggage lockers could be better. I finally managed to find the proper doors but it required several phone-calls. There are no signs inside the building where to find the apartments. You do not know which button in the elevator should be pressed. I traveled up and down in the building until I finally found the proper floor. Neither is it obvious that the apartments are in the same place where the reception and the luggage lockers are. Once you learn all that, then the codes are really convenient and always work, but if you do not know the place and the building, it takes a lot of time and effort to find the apartments and can be frustrating. It should not be a problem to formulate the instructions in a better, more precise way. Another detail that could be added and is not difficult to provide is an electric kettle and a set for making tea/coffee. There is nothing in the apartment, not even a single glass or a cup. I always travel with a small kettle and a cup, but such things are really a standard expectation all over the world and could be really useful in an apartment like that. These are small drawbacks, but could easily be improved.

We loved the location of the property. Very close and central. Close the subway.
Communication from the property was not clear about what floor it was on, and the code to get into the reception room. We were not the only ones confused. Once we figured it out there was No actual reception person there. Just an iPad. Code we were given to open our accomodation room did not work. Got transferred through to an IT person to get access. I feel like every accomodation room these days should really have a small fridge. No fridge affected our stay for summer for sure. Also we were not given a do not disturb sign, and while we were napping housekeeping knocked on our door quite loudly waking us all up.
