We rode our motorcycles up to Halifax from North Carolina and used this house as our base of operations to explore Nova Scotia. PERFECT house for us and really enjoyed being able to cook a couple of meals at the house. Definitely will choose it again if we are back up there.

While we didn’t have the view we had in our 2018 Halifax stay when we last spent a month in the Halifax area this home turned out to be a great location. We were literally 5 minutes from downtown and it is a wonderful base for checking out the waterfront, the museums, the library, the Public Gardens, well, just about everything.. The hydrostone area at the top of Young Street has a wonderful bakery and Made in the Maritimes has lots of wonderful choices for souvenirs and gifts as well as a great hair salon. The house itself provided everything we needed. It is spacious and made for a comfortable stay for a month. While the furniture is a bit dated, the appliances are all state of art. Because we travel full time and were here for a month we did a lot of cooking at home and nearly everything was provided to allow us to do that. The deck could definitely use a coat of paint and there is no view but it was nice to have comfy chairs and space to sit outside on warm evenings. It is important to note that the laundry is shared with another apartment. It was not an issue but wasn’t indicated in the listing. The hosts were very gracious and generally very helpful. We definitely recommend this property!

The kitchen came with just enough plates, glasses for 6 people. We had do dishes every meal as not enough to run the dishwasher. Very limited for kitchen items. Short on towels for 1/2 bath. had to use one for upstairs. It meant our needs for our short stay.

Good location, Location was only 10 min from downtown Halifax. Rooms were good two rooms with air conditioning, shared laundry, three bathrooms, spacious kitchen. It was a nice house, quiet location for our first trip to Halifax. Thank you Ahmed & Yosra
