The property was clean, staff was hospitable and helpful, and the room was comfortable and well-appointed. The G/M was especially pleasant and personable; working the breakfast and interacting with guests to assist with any needs or concerns. The location is perfect; a little more than half-way up the hill between the waterfront and the Citadel, making it convenient to explore sites atop the hill (Citadel, Public Gardens, etc.) during one excursion, and then going down to the waterfront and boardwalk to explore everything in the south, from the Farmer’s Market and Pier 21 Immigration Museum, and then sights like the Sackville, et al and the ferry terminal on the north on another excursion. The rooftop seating and grill provided a nice quiet view of the water, George’s Island, and a great alternative spot to enjoy cheese and a bottle of wine without having to leave the property.
The only thing disappointing about the entire stay was the toilet. Obviously, this model was made to conserve water. As a result, we had to constantly consider the amount of TP we used. Ironically, it caused us to flush the toilet repeatedly, and probably used more water than a normal toilet would use.

The suite was quite large, very comfortable, and quiet despite the downtown location. The hotel is very clean and the staff was both professional and welcoming.

Location was excellent and parking was good underground.
Rooms are dated, and the hotel has no pool.
