We hiked for 6 days in the area and this room was the best of our stay. The beds were comfy and cosy, there was a fan heater if you got cold and the shower was hot and powerful and didn't spray everywhere like some other stays we had. Everything smelt and looked fresh and clean.
We appreciated the kettle in the room - you had to move things around to plug it in, but that was no problem. The views from the hotel were amazing: up to the village, church and mountains and down to Queen Tamar's tower and other villages. There were seats and hammocks outside to enjoy the views.
Communication was easy and the hosts' English was excellent. We ate a fantastic dinner and breakfast there. The food was freshly prepared and probably the best of our six day hike. We were grateful they accommodated an early breakfast before our drive down to Kutaisi. Ushguli is a lovely community and I would highly recommend the hospitality of this lovely accommodation.

First of all, the location is great. It’s in the uphill and you can see whole town and mountains and rivers. Also, it’s very rare to find an accommodation with private bathroom. Another great thing is the owners. You can feel how sincere they are. Highly recommended.

The location is superb, you have to hike up a little bit past Queen Tamar castle but it's worth it, the view from the property above the town is wonderful, you can also sit outside in the garden with plenty of space and incredible views all around.
The room was nice and spacious with our own private bathroom, the beds are comfy. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming, they cooked us amazing meals and accommodated our dietary preference (vegan).
A lovely place to end our extended Svaneti hike, with two nights here to enjoy Ushguli and a detour to the glacier.

We did walk a lot through this lovely village, and this place is definitely in a prime location, on a small hill, overlooking everything :) The owners are friendly; it is quiet, nice, has an option for breakfast, really good value for money. Also a parking spot. We would definitely book again when in Ushguli :)
The shower could have a shower curtain or something to stop the spread of water all around
