We were lucky to book this at short notice, on the night of the solstice, when lots of places had limited availability and the prices had shot up. It's a walkers' hostal really, on the Camino de Santiago, with a limited menu. The staff were super friendly and the room comfortable and clean. We enjoyed a couple of bar snacks and the tinto de verano went down well!
The only thing that didn't suit us was the lack of a lift, as my husband is disabled and struggles with stairs, but it's a beautiful historic building and we were aware that there wasn't one before we booked.

The property is absolutely beautiful and we had a private room and couldn’t hear anything from any other rooms so lovely and quiet.
There’s a little pool to soak your feet and a lovely outdoor area for relaxing.
Was a little disappointed with the pilgrim menu but the couple running it had only had it for 6 months so hopefully this is something they can improve on.

The location, the facade ,the garden and outside seating was amazing.
The warden was so lovely and helpful.
The cafe opposite was amazing .
The rooms were very small and dark. We needed a light on in the middle of the day. The beds were not comfortable as I had to sleep on a sofa bed BUT was much better than the bunks which we were originally allocated.
Booking com need to look at their advertising for this accommodation as it is not what it claims to be. Ie. It looks like we had our own seating area. The seating area, kitchen etc were all shared with the whole of the building.
I think if it was priced as a albergue it would have been ok not the 109 euros I paid for 3 of us
