We loved this hotel very much. It’s a beautiful and scenic place in the middle of a quiet village, perfect for a peaceful family stay. It is very kid-friendly with an excellent play area, and the breakfast was good. Even though there was no staff present late at night, the automatic self check-in was very smooth and well managed, which made our late arrival stress-free.
The hotel is a bit away from the main city, so using Uber or Bolt can be expensive. Planning your transport in advance or using a rental car would be more convenient and cost-effective.

The location is good, as the Salzburg Old town is only a 10 minute drive away, and it's close to the main highway. If you're traveling with kids, they'll certainly enjoy the huge indoor playground. The restaurant is also nice, and the food is good.
It looks a bit old and not well maintained, especially if you look from the outside.

Nice room, recently renovated
The breakfast selection was decent, but the quality was poor. Fruits were clearly canned and not fresh; the bread tasted very industrial and was dry; the juices were also industrial, for example.
No AC; the room reached 29 degrees every day despite sleeping with the window open. The worst was that, one day, the cleaning staff opened the window when it was 35 degrees outside.
The owners are nice, but the younger staff at the reception don't seem very happy to be there. The breakfast staff also seemed not to care much - I notified them of one fruit juice being wrongly labeled on day 1, and it was still not fixed by day 4.
