The breakfast was outstanding! Huge portions, all served to us beautifully.
I didn’t realise when I booked that it’s a vegetarian hotel, but everything was delicious!

This is a lovely guest house, the owners, Wal and Vciky, are lovely people who nothing is too much trouble for. They are quite happy to hang around and have a chat with you whenever you see them. The breakfasts are very large - they do warn you of this when you arrive - very filling, and you get a good selection of choices to pick from too. We especially liked the Mumbai toastie, but all the options are very nice. The bedroom was certainly big enough for us with plenty of drawers for storage and a mini fridge in the room too, with complimentary bottled water in it for us. We also had a nice big four poster bed! The bathroom was fine and thankfully the shower didn't have a big step in, which is an advantage for us as our mobility isn't too good. Wal was happy to give us a hand up the stairs with our luggage when we arrived, and again when we were leaving. This is a lovely place to stay and we will certainly stay here again if we come to Buxton again.
To be honest, absolutely nothing. The place was ideal for us.

Bed was comfortable. Late check out was nice. Setting was nice. Breakfast selection was very good.
Cleanliness of the room, we found hairs on our bathroom glass (appeared to have perhaps been washed out with the same cloth the bathroom was cleaned with) and another hair on our breakfast.
Hotel host was very friendly but for us he was just a bit too imposing.
