Great location, very close to Bourke Street Mall, across the road from some amazing restaurants down Hardware Lane (Max's Italian was a favourite), and close to tram stops. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they were great.
The room, which apparently was an upgrade, was far from it nor looking like the photo's on the website. It was large, but in desperate need of an upgrade and a good clean.
The bathroom sink was tiny, couldn't have my toothbrush and straightener on there at the same time, nowhere to store my toiletry bag, plenty of shelf storage for toiletry items but nowhere for an electric toothbrush, straightener, hairdryer and/or toiletry bag.
There were quite a lot of stains on the carpet.
No draw storage, there is a massive wardrobe but only 6 hangers and the shelf inside it was so high you would need a step ladder or American NBA player to get your clothes down.
The items in the kitchen were limited and looked grotty. There were finger prints and a film of grime on everything, but when I say everything, I mean the 2 knives, forks and spoons that were in the draw.
Sadly my experience at this venue was very different to my previous stay at a Brady Hotel (Jones Lane) which was excellent.
