It was a fabulous old building with lots of history which the staff were eager to share, we loved the pool & the taverna in the square
The tiny bath made showering quite tricky & the gardens were overgrown & needed some care. It was also described on booking.com as being much closer to the port than it actually was.

Historical characterful building.
The size, style and decor were perfect.
Classy but comfortable. Terrace and pool made our stay extremely e notable. Amazing breakfast.
Staff were attentive without being intrusive. Elena set the tone with a wonderful welcome and was eager to ensure we had. Great stay

The staff were very friendly and rooms (we had an apartment) were well laid out. Swimming pool was a lovely size and very quiet! The medium sized garden was also nice to look around and we enjoyed seeing the vegetable patch. The breakfast had a good spread although it was a one size fits all approach with lots of breads. Nice to have a bath for the children
No restaurant at the hotel despite this being advertised on booking.com. There is a bar with good coffee but other than a few biscuits there's not really anything to eat onsite. The breakfast in the morning had a good spread but any allergies would have been difficult to work around, particular dairy or gluten based ones. There wasnt a shower as such (again this was advertised), a sort of deep tub with a shower head, but there was a separate bath.
It generally felt a bit tired - the travelcot had a massive hole at one end and one of the toilets was leaking slightly from the base (although we could easily use the other one!)
