Didn’t eat it. My one concern is that I feel like coffee should be available to customers in the lobby, even if they didn’t buy the breakfast buffet.

The room was clean and very comfortable. I was able to move to a lot of places by walking or by train without a problem. They also offer in shuttle that takes you to Kyoto station in the mornings.
Everything was great there is no such a thing that I didn’t like about the hotel. Overall I give this stay a 10/10

Location is great, also convenient with having luggage forwarded to the hotel.
We were assigned the top most floor, and the common area air conditioning was kept off probably because we were the only ones on that floor. They could have easily accommodated us on one of the other floors which had comfortable temperature.

Very clean and new hotel. Kinda stylish. That’s why we booked it.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the lobby was crowded with suitcases and a large tour group blocking the way. We had to wait quite a while before being checked in. The staff seemed rushed, but they did try their best.
Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. However, it faced the street, and even with the windows closed, it was very noisy at night—you could hear everything from outside.
The air conditioning also seemed to be broken. When we switched from heating to cooling, the noise became unbearable, even in silent mode. We had to turn it off, which made the room uncomfortably hot and resulted in a very poor night’s sleep.
The breakfast staff were not very friendly and appeared quite stressed. Due to several large tour groups staying at the hotel, the buffet was extremely crowded and noisy. The selection was limited and not worth the price. We decided to skip breakfast on the second day.
Overall, we had been really looking forward to our stay in Kyoto, but unfortunately, this hotel was a major disappointment.
