We stayed in the two bedroom chalet. The owner/hostess was amazing and brought us breakfast each morning. Both the Japanese and the traditional breakfast were outstanding and well thought out. Very easy walk to philosophers’s path shrines temples were used the bikes both days an amazing way to see the city! Loved the feel of the apartment and amenities.

Cecco-san was incredible host! Prompt and professional with communication, super attentive to our needs, a great cook and fun to talk with. The rooms and facilities were beautifully kept and were extremely comfortable. The location was also perfect for us - away from the hustle and crowds, but still close enough to reach places on foot or bicycle ride. On that note, it was fantastic that we could hire ebikes directly from Azukiya at a reasonable price to leisurely cover more of the city during our visit.

We had such a great stay in Kyoto thanks to Chieko and her beautiful apartment "Azukiya".
She was so friendly and welcoming that it felt like a home. Also she had some good recommendations and the breakfast was awesome. We would definitely recommend to book the breakfast option. Nice option to rent the ebikes and wash our laundry.
Thank you so much for making our good days in Kyoto even better!
