Of all the islands, Tierra Bomba is not necessarily the nicest one. The resort's location is fine, but there isn't much else worthwhile to walk to.
The facilities and overall resort are in need of a little tlc and upkeep. It feels a little shabby chique, which if you lean into it is absolutely fine.

Everything was perfect. They organised a boat transfer, welcome drink was served, staff was really helpful always asking if we need anything. Breakfast menu was very nice. Rooms are so cosy and comfy, minibar is fully equipped.

Beautiful facilities, spacious and multiple areas to relax. Nice green space for kids to play and pool at the rooms is very welcome. Majority of staff are really good and friendly. Special mention to Ricardo and Dayanis in the bar/restaurant. flor and tom for the yoga classes and special welcome. Food is very nice and reception is very accommodating.
Inexperienced management - we had an incident with disruptive guests on one night which we had to deal with ourselves at 1:30 am. The handling of the incident afterwards was unsatisfactory and some training in dealing with customers would be recommended. Also some smaller items which we felt they were inflexible with.
Security at night needs to be more active and there should be a contact for the guests especially given recent events on the island.
Also the sea is very dirty and only say it being cleaned once during the day. I think that should be minimum 2/3 times a day would keep it nice.
