The concept of separate bungalows giving a fair feeling of privacy, while being next to a river and to La Fortuna’s main attractions. Great staff, and we particularly enjoyed the Cuenca restaurant, amazing service and great food.
Very minor things, e.g., more hooks to hang clothes, and one or two chairs inside the bungalow would have been useful.

Beautiful pool, breakfast was exceptional, staff very helpful. Onsite facilities are very good. We enjoyed a game of Padel and had a lap swim . Close to the main town.
We were a group of three but everything in the room was set up for two .

Lots of nature, feels safe with a large entrance gate, many sport facilities (padel, basketball, football, gym etc). Seems kid friendly with a slide by the pool and 3 pools. Private Jacuzzi was very spacious, larger than it appeared on the pictures.
It missed a spark. Staff tries but feels they are not professionally trained in terms of hospitality expertise. Was very much looking forward to this stay but the sheets were dirty (dirt stains), cabin jacuzzi area not cleaned upon arrival (including bandage), hair in bathroom etc. Staff resolved the issues quickly but issues repeatedly occurred (e.g., forgot to clean room or WhatsApp back - their method of communication; which was very helpful!). Room has hospital grade white lights, it does not feel cosy but I think there is potential if they hired a good interior designer as rooms are spacious. Little things, Breakfast was not very tasteful and the iron stained my white dress with rust stains, two lights didn’t work (Jacuzzi and bedside). Very hilly, if you have mobility issues, this is not the best place to stay. Were celebrating a special occasion but no attention was given to it despite it being communicated and acknowledged prior. All might seem like minor things but it adds up, especially as this property advertises itself as “luxury”.
