Fairmont Taghazout Bay

One of the best stays ever. Staff are unbelievably kind, friendly and efficient. Beautifully clean and maintained. The planting scheme is truly special, pool is lush and natural, almost like a lake. Food is absolutely delicious and varied The breakfast is very special, fresh fruit, pastries, food cooked to order, fresh orange juice. Gin bar with firepit is amazing, brilliant staff and bar manager . So many spots to watch the sunset. Spa is huge and v relaxing. Beachfront with pedestrian promenade, complimentary bicycles available, cycle to surf village Tagazout. Short transfer from airport. Our room had outstanding garden and beach view and was huge. Well staffed and absolutely immaculate. Seperate pool area for children, which looked lovely. Absolutely exceptional .

Too big and busy, lacked personal service

had a wonderful solo stay at the Fairmont Bay Hotel and highly recommend it. From start to finish, everything was fantastic, the pool was great (i dont know how to swim but i managed to do it, its not too deep and also lifeguards were around at all times), the food was delicious, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. The property itself is huge, and I actually loved that wandering around and discovering new spots became one of my favorite parts of the trip. It's even better at night, when the whole place takes on a calm peaceful and almost zen as you stroll around. A special shoutout to Khadija at Beef and Reef, who was incredibly hospitable. She had such a warm, happy energy and treated every guest wonderfully she really made my stay feel special. I'll definitely be coming back!

The location is superb

The hotel charge a very very high price and it is okay as long as you get the right service. The location is great and the staff is friendly but the hotel has very serious management problem. For example the sauna wa out of order , half of the gym equipment is either dysfunctional or dirty. I addition to get access to the spa facilities you need to book a treatment. You don’t see that in a 5 stars hotel. It is called blackmail specially if you pay 700 USD per night. The spa is nice but the staff wears very cheap and dirty sandals which goes back to again very poor management. We tried all restaurant the food is horribly expensive which again is fine if you get the quality and taste. We got none of them. I will stop here because there are so many dysfunctional things.
