easy proceed to get in and out, cleaning team is lovely. kitchen is great. rooms are good, top bunk is fun and easy to get up to. backyard area is nice with turf and table seating with umbrella! parking directly outside the home is $10 nightly but so worth it. overall 10/10 stay will return if needed in the future xoxo

The hostel is self-managed, so there is no reception desk. Check-in is done independently using the instructions sent by email. The manager is very helpful though, if you have any issues, just message him and he’ll sort it out straight away. There is also a lovely lady who cleans the hostel every day. Some people live here long-term, but that didn’t bother me at all. The guys are very chill and keep to themselves, but some of them are very friendly and nice.
I found the location slightly inconvenient. There aren’t many good restaurant options nearby, so you’ll need to take a 10–15 minute bus ride to an area with more choices. There is a 7-Eleven about a 10-minute walk away, as well as a few coffee shops nearby. If you’re a woman, I would not recommend booking the male dorm. I found it quite overwhelming because it’s the room where many of the long-term male guests stay. Another downside is the internet connection. Most eSIMs won’t get signal inside the hostel, and the Wi-Fi is quite slow and keeps disconnecting, which can be frustrating. The lockers are also quite small and won’t fit a standard backpack. I had to take my laptop out and rearrange everything to make it fit as best as possible. I feel like this isn’t really a place to meet other travellers or socialise. It’s more of a place to spend the night and move on.
