This hotel is proud of how it has reclaimed an older building.
Reception staff are friendly and helpful
A great location right near Place St Georges
By using booking.com rather than contacting them directly we did not realise that there is no lift (and 3 floors) so we were not asked if we wanted to be on a lower floor

Very quiet, friendly staff, comfortable room
Very central so easy to walk to all the interesting places. In a very nice quiet road.
No kettle in bedroom.

Reception Staff are excellent. Both people are friendly and cooperative. The location of the property is ideal, just around the corner from Place St George with its restaurants.
On entering, you walk through a narrow hallway onto a creaking, uneven spiral type stairway up which you must carry your luggage. No lift. The tiny office with thread bare carpet serves as a reception!! Further winding stairs to your room through tiny corridors. Carpet on the stairs is stained and dirty. Our Superior Room was small. No wardrobe, small French laguage only tv and worst of all a badly fitted sliding bathroom door which stayed partially open all the time making somebody on the toilet visable from the bed. Finally no hot water was available in the evenings.
There is no public area in the hotel. It has bedrooms only.
