Nice little room, I liked its independence from the main building. Good location.
Very handy for the bus and Coop.
No hooks or shelves in the bathroom for clothes or towels.
Lack of availability of food in the restaurant after 7.00 p.m.

Just what we needed for a night stay with a dog
No breakfast options in the week

Breakfast is not provided mid week but there were plenty of places close by to get breakfast. We had an evening meal on the first night which was good value for money. On the first night, a Tuesday, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere on a fairly quiet night in the pub. All in all, a great start to our short birdwatching break.
A change of staff on Wednesday had a totally different attitude leaving us very disappointed!

The food in the pub was excellent value for money. Home cooked and as it was "pie night" the drink was included. That too was perfectly kept. A case of simple food done well.
Room was in need of some improvement, poor hot water flow to wash basin and some condensation issue. Bed was not most comfortable, some springs being a bit too prominent. However, as value and for what we needed no complaints.
