It wasnt me who stayed here - i booked it for our van driver. I thought it was a good accessible place near where i booked our group (at Villanueva de Alava)

It was extremely hard to get in! I accompanied the driver because the reservation was in my name. Waze had conflicting instructions because road construction blocked a key road to the property. After 3 tries, we found a police car to bring us NEAR there; and walked the rest of the way. The unit #4 was not to be found - there was #3, the next one was # 5! There was no info in confirmation that i should look for narrow stairs leading up to the back of the building! We finally called the Owner and were able to get in with phone instructions. Inside it was dark and scary, not at all welcoming. When i asked our driver next day how his stay was, he curtly replied “I survived”

Great location, excellent view, quite unique setup, interesting old building on the top of the town. Sustainable, great heating. Very nice place to center your stay and visit some areas of La Rioja Alavesa.

The access is a little difficult if you have a lot of luggage, otherwise a great place.
