The staff were delightful and everything we needed was close by. The heater kept the room nice and warm.
It was nice to see there was access to the playground for those using the accommodation. So if the kids rise early you’d still be able to access it. Very well throughout.
I was also impressed to see a shower and bath option, handy with little ones.
Music into the early morning. However, that’s also to be expected

Right in the centre of town, can walk to everything (yes, it's a small country town). The room was small but the description says it's small so no issues there. If you're passing through and just looking for somewhere to put your head down and get a good night's rest then this is perfect. I slept well but then it was a Monday night so the town was very quiet after 10pm. Couldn't tell you what it would be like later in the week or the weekend. As advertised, there's only a shared bathroom on the other side of the building with one toilet, a bath and a shower. I had a late night shower and the water pressure was amazing with fabulous hot, hot water. They supplied soaps etc but they're pumps on the wall that kept falling off if I bumped it. Bring your own! I stayed middle of winter but there was an extra blanket and a well working heater available which I just set to a thermostat, and it kept me comfortable all night.
