It was a much needed night of relaxation. I couldn’t have picked a better place.

It was very clean and the staff were incredibly nice. I also loved how peaceful it was. Some of the best sleep I ever gotten.

There is nothing I can think of that I didn’t like About my stay.

Enjoyable beautiful cabin

The cabin was so cozy. I was okay with no running water. The bathroom and showers weren’t too far.

They should have allowed us to cancel after disclosing there were no water or bathroom facilities in the cabin.

No water, bathroom in “dry” cabin, no warning on Booking.com. Could not cancel after truth regarding the water was known. Then they added the “resort fee” on top of it. It ended up to be about as costly as a hotel. No microwave, coffee pot.

I am requesting a discount as your site was misleading in description.

Description on booking.Com website did not mention there was no running water in cabin. Also portrayed there was a kitchenette. There was no bathroom, no kitchenette, no shades on the windows. Access to the shared bathroom/ shower facility was accessed by walking up a steep grassy hill that was not lit at night. The ports potty that was closer to our cabin smelled terrible.

We needed a bed and place to stay, but the price was unbelievably expensive. I suppose it was due to Grandma’s marathon

Beautiful views cute cabins beds are cheap and not comfortable staff at main lodge not very friendly

I liked the views and the top lodge very beautiful

Only 3 outlets worked the bathroom was 100 degrees you couldn’t breathe in there there is no handicap accessible bathroom for anyone the food is overpriced nothing was open very disappointing ask then to come and fix the outlets said they would send someone never did I was there a week won’t be staying there again

We have to leave after one night ! Will never return.

The building is beautiful but many things didn’t work! For example, It took more 5han two people to fix the TV but the TV worked for less than 2 hours. There was no breakfast and no available on site.

Serve food on site! Have a microwave in suite! Have a coffee maker that most people use. Make sure the big windows and sky window have blinds so that we can sleep! Make sure that the corners of the bed frame are rounded so that they don’t hurt our feet, fall, and hurt ourselves when we get up to go to bathroom. Make sure that the girls at the front desk know what they are doing!

False advertisement- the information on the website is very misleading.. Also three people came into our room at 3AM. We could not sleep the rest of the night!

THE BASEBOARD HEAT DIDNT WORK. ITS WAS -13 DEGREES AND MY SON AND I HAD TO SLEEP IN OUR SNOW GEAR UNTIL THE THIN BLANKETS THEY PROVIDED WHILE WE COULD SEE OUR BREATHE. WE ARE NOW EXTREMELY SICK AND WILL NEED TO RECOVER. WE ONLY STAYED UNTIL 4AM FRIDAY. PLEASE REFUND ME.

Fantastic rustic stay in wooded cabin

Beautiful scenery, close to Duluth, MN and Superior, WI. Nice and quiet stay with a rustic charm. Nice bar and restaurant in the lodge.

Was a steep drive up the hill to the cabins but it’s a ski resort so that makes sense. Overall it was a fantastic resort. Would stay again 10/10.

Superb

We liked the Trophy lodge where our Prince suite was. Very clean and comfortable. Great view of the hill and the fireworks on New Years Eve.

Didn't like there was no microwave.

I would love to have my money back as we were only at the property for a couple of hours. Not too happy with the stay.

Nothing bad against the property but we did not have power for almost 2 days there and ended up having to stay at a hotel. I am upset I do not get my money back considering we did not end up staying there. We did pay for our own hotel as well. They offered us to stay at a different cabin then we had because of the wood stove. It did not light up because of the fire starters they had and it was freezing. The second night we ended up leaving around 11:30pm to drive 2.5 hours home because it was too loud and we were not able to sleep.

This was a great stay for a short trip. Super cozy, and had everything you need for a weekend getaway.

The cabin was a very cozy stay.

The cabin smelt like the water was rotten and kind of stunk up the whole area.

How cozy the cabin was and had all the essentials we needed towels, basic kitchen items, pots, pan, silverware and grill utensils etc. We were right next to the playground.

The beds were hard as a rock.

Our stay was not what we expected

The location was 20 minutes from downtown Duluth and was a very pretty view from the cabin. Especially during the fall, we enjoyed the red/orange/yellow colors of the trees and it was decent weather when we went.

We didn't receive information upon our arrival like where the bathrooms/showers were, how to use the heaters in the cabin, etc. The binder in the cabin stated we could call for extra blankets and pillows but when we called the number, they said that cabins don't get these extra items. It was extremely cold in the cabin and the lack of information made it a stressful stay. Make sure you know that you are pretty much camping and should bring items to prepare for this. Also expect to walk to the bathroom outside of your cabin.

We had a fantastic time and plan to stay longer next time to enjoy all there is to do!

We liked all the entertainment options on the property that came with the reservation. Everything seemed to be relatively well maintained and clean, and family-friendly. Nearly all the staff were helpful and kind, and patient with my barrage of questions. :)

I may have missed it - but I didn't realize "shared bathroom" meant there was a shower house. It worked out fine - especially b/c our cabin was next door - just a little bit of a shock when we arrived and were expecting a bathroom in the cabin. But, the cabin was great: awesome view, comfortable, etc. Just maybe clarify that on the website better? The dude running the tubing hill was having a reallllly bad day. He wasn't waxing anybody's tube unless asked (and didn't seem too pleased when he was asked) so everyone kept getting stuck halfway down the hill. It was still fun - but not near as fun as it could have been.
