Hotel in stile cottage inglese, defilato rispetto al Gregory Lake ma comunque in ottima posizione per raggiungerlo. Le camere sono molto curate e pulite e lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile. La colazione è ottima e i piatti sono di qualità. Ottimo ed efficiente anche il servizio di Laundry. Un ottimo albergo per rilassarsi
Il soggiorno é stato molto buono e siamo stati bene. Per essere un hotel a cinque stelle suggeriamo più attenzione a piccoli particolari considerando anche il prezzo della camera: in bagno infatti c’era solo la presa per i rasoi ma non per il phon; phon poco efficiente; si potrebbe inserire degli adattatori nelle camere.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chimneys. All of the staff are really friendly and helpful. Gavin goes out of his way to make your stay as memorable as possible and was happy to make any bookings for us. Would highly recommend.
Unfortunately they didn't have any decaf coffee, despite trying to obtain some for me, but I think this problem is all over Sri Lanka. Perhaps as well that I always travel with a small amount for such situations.

Pretty property and lovely owner/ staff - can’t fault them.
The area didn’t feel safe - the walk out of the property to any main attractions isn’t great. There are also tones of stray dogs just outside the gate so walking at night wasn’t ideal. It wasn’t well located if you are intending to be by foot. We ended up using the tuk tuk driver from the hotel (who was fab! And took us down to town for dinner etc!) which worked well but we were gutted we couldn’t explore more by foot as we only had one night.
