The position was perfect as a short walk to a a number of restaurants. Breakfast was a bonus. Penny, the host was lovely.
The room was tight, but for be one night it was fine.

Being in the deluxe suite meant there was also a small lounge that had wonderful view out over the Tauranga harbour.
Taiparoro House is a historic house built in 1882 and it retains much of the character of that era.
There is wonderful shared area that has a conservatory - lounge that looks out over a garden area.
Just need to be ok with climbing stairs as there is stair case that you need to climb to get to the deluxe suite.
Great place to stay (we were staying after my wife had had day surgery in Tauranga)

Peace and quiet. Excellent personal space. Exceptionally comfortable bed. Blissfully hot shower. Lovely helpful hosts. This is a heritage property built in 1882 so has the in keeping character one would expect and it’s lovely.
