Lovely apartment. Great to explore the Ammoudara / Agios Nikolaos region. Near to lovely beaches, close to city center and lovely pool.
Kitchen could be better equipped with tableware and utensils. For a family of five it was a bit of a challenge.

Hotel was beautiful, lovely decor, great facilities in the room. We were even upgraded to a garden room with a hot tub after 4 days.
Pool area lush and very quiet, music relaxing and not too loud. Lovely sunbeds, plenty of sunshades if needed.
Reception staff excellent, no request too much trouble.
I know it was a room only basis, would be nice if there was a bar area there to get drinks during day and evening but I understand why there isnt this facility.
local tavernas only a few minutes walk away so no great hardship to walk to them!

Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Lazar Lux suites. The highlights were: the cleanliness (and the friendly, accommodating cleaners); the location (quiet and within short walking distance of the beach); and the amount of space and facilities within the room -- in particular the jacuzzi and the amount of outdoor space (our unit had two outdoor areas). The staff were friendly and helpful. They cleaned out the jacuzzi when we arrived and immediately replaced the shower head, which was leaking. They gave us a welcome gift and were always on hand to provide advice on days out, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was tastefully decorated, with high ceilings, and was well equipped. There was plenty of space for hanging and storing clothes. It was a pleasure to spend time there and felt like a home away from home. The pool area looked fabulous although it was not yet warm enough for use during our stay.
We arrived in late April after a relatively cold period, and during the first two days of our stay, we were quite cold in the evening and night. The room had a temperature control system, but we couldn't get the temperature to increase to a comfortable level (beyond about 19 degC). We asked the reception for assistance and they suggested a few things to try, but none of them worked. After a few days, the outdoor temperature had increased and it was no longer a problem, but I hope that this problem has been resolved for future guests arriving out of peak season. The manager certainly took note of the issue and said it would be dealt with.

Some nice restaurants nearby, and a small supermarket was just opening for basics.

Shower was positioned wrongly soaking the floor and the room stayed damp.
