Paba was really friendly and helpful, the bed was big and comfortable and the location was great. Plus I loved sitting outside the apartment, in the shade at the table and watching monkeys climb through the trees

Located next to the prettiest part of town with great access to lovely cafes and close to the beach. The area is also private and quiet and you can see monkeys easily. The room and bathroom are nicely decorated and there is always help whenever you need it.
We really struggled without AC as it was 32/33 degrees each day. The tuk tuks couldn’t get to the place so we had to walk through a thunderstorm one evening to get back. The room isn’t very light either but it was still good value for money.

Short but pleasant stay at Cashew. Walking distance to beach in quiet area. Good value for money.

It was clean, and it looks like a lot of the facilities are new and good quality (e.g. sink, toilet, etc.). The owner seems like a very good person - he woke up every morning to burn incense and pray to Buddha.
- Location is a bit remote. It's hard for cars to get there, making it hard for loading luggage, and it can be scary at night or early morning. Some of the nearby houses have dogs which can bark and burst out which again can be scary during the odd hours.
- The lighting in the room is very dim. I think lighting makes a big difference in feeling of cleanliness and safety.
- There are small cracks to the outside which allows bugs to get in. Fortunately he has a mosquito net over the bed though.
- There were two fans directed at our bed, and we weren't able to adjust the intensity, so we were stuck feeling either chilly or stuffy throughout the night.
