About this house rental
Situated in Gualala, this charming house for $362 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Welcome to the Ocean Bungalow! You'll be greeted with stunning views of the bluff and ocean from the comfort of your cozy living room or the outdoor deck. Conveniently, a Tesla charger is available for your use. Located within walking distance to the Gualala supermarket, restaurants, and even our office, this home is the perfect relaxing getaway from the city. While there is no direct beach access, you'll be minutes away from the Gualala Bluff Trail and the Gualala River, where you can paddle board, picnic along the river, and even kayak! The living room is furnished with a Smart TV (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc.) over a cozy electric fireplace and comfortable seating. Right behind the living room is the family room with amazing blue water views. The private balcony is equipped with a BBQ grill and patio seating. Enjoy your morning coffee out here to soak in the views. The kitchen comes prepared with a drip coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and more to make you feel right at home. When it's time to call it a night, head to one of the two bedrooms. The main bedroom holds a Queen bed and an en suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed and an additional den has a sofa sleeper. A full 2nd bathroom is available for guests to share. Don't forget to bring your furry friend along because this home is pet friendly (with a fee)! Up to two pets are allowed to reside during your stay. The pets may only weigh up to 50lbs combined. An additional pet fee will be applied after booking is complete. Please note that this home can accommodate up to 2 dogs, with an additional Pet Fee of $35 per pet per day. This fee is not included in your final booking price. If you are bringing dogs, please contact our Customer Care Team after booking to pay the pet fee. Parking is available for 3 cars on the driveway with a newly installed Tesla charger! A washer and dryer are available for your use. Please read the terms and conditions carefully. An e-signed rental agreement and damage waiver are required upon confirming your reservation.

On 9/12, someone who knew the door lock code entered the house while we were out without our entry permission and took Duracell batteries from the kitchen drawer. I contacted the management office to fine who entered but they have not answered me yet. This incident totally ruined our vacation and scared us.

We enjoyed our week in Gualala. Was great to get out of the Texas heat and enjoy the beautiful Northern CA weather. Gualala is a great little town that we enjoyed exploring. The house has one of the better stocked kitchens the 25+ VRBO rentals we've stayed in. It was just 2 of us, but the house has a nice layout for larger groups with a couple of separate living areas. Great deck and amazing view of the Pacific where we spent many hours. Only suggestion would be to add ceiling fans to the bedroom or have an available fan in the closet for use. Great house and location.

This is a great place to watch the ocean and relax. Everything is close by (grocery, shops, restaurants) and great walking trails just south of town. The house was very comfortable, clean and well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return. Being pet-friendly was also a perk.

This house is exactly as pictured. The views are spectacular from both the deck and the main living room. It is also an easy stroll to Gualala for coffee and the grocery store. We loved exploring and just lounging at the house with our two dogs. Thank you!

This property was perfect. The best place to relax and watch the ocean from the deck or relax in the living room looking out the window. The kitchen and entire house was well stocked. The den was so relaxing with the tv and fireplace. Everything is like new. Great bathrooms and the bed was perfect. Location is blocks from restaurants and grocery stores. We plan to return!

The view is what sets this house above others we've stayed at. It was sunny and warm enough to sit outside on the deck the day before we left. We saw lots of whale blows! It's gray whale migration time so we were hoping to see these. They didn’t come in real clise but we could see some of their backs. They do have a big spotting scope to take a better look at whales or sea lions. I didn't try to use it though.
The comfortable family room and den furniture was a real plus too! The kitchen was well equipped with pans, coffeemaker, toaster, crockpot, and blender. Each bathroom had 2 nice big towels, etc. The bedroom closet had extra blankets but the bed had a blanket and comforter that kept us cozy. The thermostat for the heater was pre-programmed to revert to 65 degrees 3 hours after we set it for a higher temperature. We like it warmer than that so we used the electric wall heater in the bedroom. (The master bedroom bed is getting close to needing replaced.) Overall we had a wonderful stay and hope to return some day.

Great house. Plain exterior, stunning interior, they put their remodel money in the right place. Walking distance to stores and restaurants yet there was a isolated feel about the house, never felt crowded by the other properties. Super nice stay, want to return soon.

Comfortable for 5 adults. Enjoyed cooking, watching the ocean and access to town. Beds were comfortable (even the sofa bed!). Even though the email from the mgt. Said there was just one bath towel, there were actually at least six (phew!).
I thought the requirement to stop and pick up the welcome packet was senseless as all information was available online.

My mom and I had a wonderful time in Gualala. The house was as described and then some. I loved the well equipped kitchen and all the little touches. We sat on the deck relaxing in the sun and enjoying the view.

Stunning views
Loved the house. Views from the sun room and the deck were superb. Very comfortably furnished and kitchen well equipped. Great location for exploring. Very clean. A couple of small maintenance issues need to be addressed. The bar In the 2nd bedroom closet was down and the electrical output In the 2nd bathroom didn’t work. But overall, a lovely place to stay.
