About this house rental
Situated in Niagara-on-the-Lake, this charming house for $205 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Be our GUEST in our private 2-bedroom basement property. The guests have the option (highly recommended) to use the private entrance with an electronic keypad located the left side of the house when facing the garage. Place is not suitable for parties or events. *Free parking on driveway (2 vehicles parked side by side or up to 3 vihecles if the 2 SMALL cars are parked back to back on the left side facing the house) Please enjoy and take advantage of our lovely house that has everything that "we" would want if "we" were to be away from home! We encourage you to reach out to us if you have any specific questions at all. Spacious upper-level entry way on the side of the house has space to park your bikes or golf clubs if need be. Our unit is modern with some vintage accent pieces that we have collected over the years to bring character and warmth to your stay. The ceiling height in the main living area is 7 feet 8 in to be exact! Large egress windows and adjustable ambient lighting provide lots of light throughout the unit. To make things a little bit fancier we installed multi-function spa shower-head in the bathroom. The wardrobe and dresser in both of the bedrooms offer ample storage as well as a desk and chair provided in bedroom 2 for a little work space. There are so many wonderful types of accommodations in the area but our guests get to experience living in the heart of Old Town Niagara-on-the Lake from the comfort and safety of our home sweet home within your own private space. We have tried our best to provide all the essential amenities being away from home. Since we are new to this sharing vacation rental community, we welcome any suggestions to always improve your next stay. The location of our home is great for our guests to enjoy walking to the lake and meandering through the quaint and beautiful streets, trails with all the amazing things this town has to offer such as the very best wineries, dining, boutique-shopping, hiking, and the theatre and much more… For those who WORK while on vacation. We just updated our internet to Bell Fibe and at 170 Mbps (upstream and downstream) it is awesome for Zoom Meetings or just for doing some last minute work. We also provide both WiFi and hardwire connections in the room. Other things to note: Please be respectful of neighbours and their property, since there are no fences between the properties. Staircase is 11 steps down to the lower unit. Not wheelchair accessible. There is potential for noise (we do live in the house, but will always try to be as quiet as possible and we are always out and about) Interaction with guests: Someone will always be available by call or text if you have any questions or concerns. Unless there are any issues, you won't see us while you are here. We want you to have a comfortable stay. For those who WORK while on vacation. Please note: we have one actively recording camera on the exterior of the building overlooking the driveway which records video and audio for security and deliveries. Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Noise By-law in effect between 11 pm to 7 am Primary Guests must be 21 years or older. Maximum number of guests is 4. Guest access: --Free parking on driveway (2 vehicles parked side by side or up to 3 vihecles if the 2 SMALL cars are parked back to back on the left side facing the house) -No overnight parking is permitted on the street. -Free high-speed internet -Closet with shelves and hangers -Washer and Dryer included -The shower includes a high flow rain-fall shower head with spa features -Open concept living room with large sectional sofa with 50" LED TV with Amazon Firestick and Netflix -2 Bedrooms (with queen bed), with dresser and built-in wardrobe. -Ambient adjustable LED lighting -steamer as well as iron with ironing board -Towels -Blow dryer -Shampoo, body wash, hand wash -Fridge, dishwasher, toaster oven, microwave, electric tea kettle, Keurig Coffee Maker(coffee, tea provided), Plates, Bowls, Cups, Glasses, Utencils etc.

The apartment is exactly as described and very central to all of downtown NOTL, including walking distance to the historic downtown. It is a short driving distance to Niagara Falls and the many local wineries. This is perhaps the best equipped unit that we have ever stayed at! Gord has thought of everything to make you feel at home. Definitely a 5 star welcome!

We enjoyed our time in Niagara-on-the-lake this weekend and our stay at this property made it even better. The location was close to the Main Street and walking distance to some wineries or a short Uber ride to others. You can tell they took a lot of care when designing the space and clearly take pride in maintaining it. Every inch of the place was spotless and filled with many handy tools you might require during your stay. The basket of snacks and water in the fridge was a great touch and really appreciated. About a mile from center ofOld Historic District , along quiet and beautifully landscaped streets. To be honest, we wanted to take the shower fixtures home with us! Gordon is a terrific host, happy to answer all questions, with impeccable taste. The snacks in the kitchen and well-stocked coffee area were unexpected treats. I have stayed at numerous vacation rentals and this one was the best. My daughter asked if we could extend our trip so we could stay at the property longer! The extra touches made me feel like I was visiting family who was taking extra special care of me. The beds are comfy, the shower was amazing, and I was completely impressed with the cleanliness. Exactly as it appears on the VRBO listing. A lovingly designed and maintained, 900 (my guess) square foot, immaculate, 2 bedroom basement unit, completely separate from the main house.
My wife and I walked into Notl for coffee and plays, about 20 min each way along pretty and safe streets.
Perhaps the most unexpected aspect of this unit - the silence. Virtually no outside noise. Rate in today’s lifestyle.

We had a fantastic time. Gordon’s suite is set up perfectly. So many extra special touches like water and snacks. Everything was crisp and clean and the communication was great. I do not have a single recommendation to make - everything is already perfect.

This property was even better than expected. Very clean, great location. We rented 4 adult bikes to get around town and had no problem storing them in the enclosed entryway. Owner was very responsive to all inquiries. Will definitely recommend this rental and plan to return in the future!!!

Immaculate, comfortable and spacious. Perfectly located close to the historical down town. Beautiful, quiet and safe neighbourhood for walking. Kitchen is very well equipped to fix breakfast and small meals. The past few days were extremely hot, so we really appreciated getting back to the air conditioned apartment at the end of the day. Would most definitely recommend.

Extremely clean, spacious apartment. This unit was very well equipped (extra towels, linens, dishes, utensils, cooking appliances, etc.). Detailed instructions for all appliances were provided. Beds and living room furniture were very comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful. Only 15 minute walk to Queen Street on beautiful tree lined residential streets. Would not hesitate to stay here again! Thank you!

Stayed in this property for 4 nights (June 2022). Property is immaculate, modern and well equipped. Cooking on the induction stovetop was awesome! Enjoy the bottle water and snacks. Nice neighborhood. Had a little issue with the lock, and the owner was quick to respond. Overall, awesome property!
