Nestled in Pacific Grove, this attractive house for $231 per night is a great option for your next trip. Sanctuary Vacation Rentals is proud to present "Rooftop Retreat"! This home sleeps up to 6 guests. This is neighborhood living at its best. The classic bungalow style home, crafted in 1935, has been lovingly restored. Take in the Bay views from the quaint front porch and the rooftop terrace of this 1,416 sf, 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom charmer. Living Spaces The open and airy great room space features beautiful wood flooring, a pitched ceiling with beams and a skylight; and a peninsula provides seating for 4 looking into the wide galley style kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances including a gas stove, refrigerator with in-door filtered water/ice dispenser and a dishwasher. A microwave oven, toaster and drip coffee maker are at the ready. The living area has a large sectional sofa and other comfy seating as well as a 65” wall-mounted TV. A dining table and chairs provide a good spot for gathering with the family to enjoy a meal. Bedrooms and Bathrooms Bedroom #1 is a primary suite at the back of the bungalow that affords the ultimate in privacy. A king size bed draped in luxury linens invites one to restful repose. A 43” television has streaming apps and there’s a walk-in closet with a bench. The en suite bathroom features a tub/shower with rain shower head and a vanity with two sinks. Bedroom #2 features a large closet and a queen size bed with luxury linens. Bedroom #3 includes twin bunk beds and a roomy closet. A pack n play is on hand. The full hall bathroom has beautifully-tiled shower with rain shower head located conveniently to both guest bedrooms. Outdoors / Bonus Room A door off the primary suite leads to a spacious patio. It’s adorned with a huge graceful oak tree that speaks of gentle times. Next to the tree sits a small, freestanding building equipped with a desk and large monitor where you can read or work away from it all. There’s a gas grill on the patio where you can enjoy a BBQ pretty much year-round. The home’s namesake rooftop deck will beckon you to sit and enjoy bay views. Comfortable outdoor furniture and a railing with wind-break panels provide a space for lingering and breathing in the fresh sea air. When you’re ready to head out, you easily walk to many local attractions including the world-renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium. Just a mile or so away along the scenic Monterey Bay Recreation Trail is Old Fisherman’s Wharf. It’s lined with restaurants specializing in local seafood, souvenir and gift shops, bars and cafes and is the launching spot for whale watching trips and fishing charters. Adjacent to the wharf lies Custom House Plaza. It’s one stop on the two-mile “Path of History” that features 55 historic sites. Just follow the yellow tiles in the sidewalk or visit for a printable map. Across the Plaza is the Monterey History & Art Association’s Salvador Dalí Art Exhibition—the largest private collection of Dali on the West Coast. Old Downtown Monterey is just the other side of Custom House Plaza where you’ll find shops, restaurants, brew pubs, an ice cream parlor, cafes and a Trader Joe's. In the other direction you can walk to downtown Pacific Grove or hop on the Recreation Trail to Lovers Point Park. The stacking washer and dryer are located in the hallway. The long driveway accommodates multiple vehicles and a garage accommodates one car. Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.
