Located in Rainbow Lake, this attractive house for $125 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Get away to our comfortable 2BD/1BA mountain cabin just steps away to Rainbow Lake. Golden Retreat provides the perfect mix of a mountain retreat, while still close enough to all that the White Mountains have to offer. The cabin sleeps 7 guests for that perfect family get away or romantic retreat. The master BR has a full queen, TV and DVD player while the guest room has a queen and bunk bed. All beds are high quality for a comfortable nights rest. In-floor heating keeps this cozy cabin very comfortable, along with an electric fireplace for heat and ambience. Portable electric heaters are in each room for added comfort if needed. Being at 6800ft elevation, the average summer temperature is in the mid 80's. Open the windows to provide fresh and cool mountain air. On rare occasion it can get in the 90's, so a portable AC is provided for your comfort. In the main room is a 65" flat screen TV, DVD player with Netflix access, high speed internet service, bar, electric heating fireplace and a dining table that seats 7 comfortably. CableTV is provided on all TV's. Though the kitchen area is small and lacks a full size oven, it does have everything else needed to prepare and serve meals for the whole family. Outside you will find a wrap around deck with propane BBQ, picnic table and outdoor seating. There is plenty of parking in front and room for your boat. The launch ramp and fishing dock is right around the corner! ***We just added a fence around the property for your children & pets to play with no worries of running off. We are huge animal lover and believe everyone should be allowed to bring their furry kids ( Dog's Only ) with them on vacation, however due to prior inconsiderate guests with pets who have damaged the property and unable to pick up after their animals, I am now forced to charge a pet fee of $30 ( Per Pet )(no cats allowed). This property is fenced in so you're doggies can run free. Also being in the Mountains, there are natures insects and animals in the area so stay alert. At busy times the traffic in the vicinity can get pretty hectic. I have the cabin next door (listing # 2432133) which you can check out the reviews, and then rent both for a great Family event. Plenty of parking so bring your fishing poles and boat up to have some fun in the beautiful White Mountains!! IMPORTANT INFO: Should you elect to use the INSTANT BOOKING option, no contract to rent is entered into unless the owner and traveler have both signed the owner's written rental agreement and the traveler has paid the deposit. The space was perfect for our family. Our dog that has never seen grass licking the fenced in yard. The natural animals visited often, we saw geese, squirrels, and a skunk. These are animals we don’t get to see, which we loved. The entertainment system has easy access ports for gaming or devices. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom has heated shower. The lake was very close with options for fishing and the niceties provided by the host was amazing. Thank you again!!

We had an excellent stay up in Pinetop. The property was very nice and cozy. We really enjoyed the full wrap-around deck and the fully fenced yard. Check in and check out were very easy. Overall we had a great time and really enjoyed the cool fall weather. Being walking distance to Rainbow Lake was a big plus.

This place had everything we needed and was a fun place to stay. The dogs having grass and a yard was an awesome plus! Very short walk to Rainbow Lake and a dock that was perfect for fishing. Would definitely recommend, especially to those with dogs!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin in Pinetop, Lakeside, enjoyed everything about this cabin, was comfortable.had everything we needed and we were even treated to treats for us and our dog. Already gave a friend the information about this place. Thanks for everything!

Loved the cabin set up. Was perfect for our dogs to run around outside with the fenced in yard. Lake was super close to walk to! Plenty of stores nearby to get groceries for the stay too. The whole family enjoyed the getaway!

The information provided before check in and at check out was perfect, except. Host text me at 6:30 each morning. That was not expected and my sleep was disrupted terribly. The information conveyed was good, but 5 separate texts at that hour. Property was clean and had all amenities I could ask for. The gift basket was a nice touch. Previous renter left some dirty paper plate, no big deal. Overall i really enjoyed my stay and the location. The pups loved the yard and were safe. I will definitely come back to this property. Have already suggested to others.

Beautiful, cute little cabin right next to the lake, with all the amenities you need. Clean, comfortable beds. Functioning kitchen. Full bath. Fenced in yard, wrap around covered porch. Dog friendly! The front porch is a perfect spot to watch the sunrise while drinking coffee. This was a great place to spend a birthday weekend!

Had a great time staying here with my two Boston Terriers. Had zero luck fishing but oh well. There is a lot of vehicle traffic but not a deal breaker. Place is just as described and host was very communicative with me before during and after.

I have two dogs that I never leave behind. So to find a very dog friendly place to stay like this was a dream. Location was great with really good walking areas and fenced in yard. The lake is pretty much out the front door. Restaurants and stores are short drive away. And I’ve already booked it to come back again.

Cute, comfy place, great grass fenced yard all around. Lake laps over small river rock pebbles so our dog could walk right in. Dock and boat ramp all just steps away. Geese and ducks and herons to watch and feed. Temperatures perfect--relief from our heat. Many nearby dog-friendly eateries. So relaxing!

Perfect location and home for family time. Brother and kids enjoyed the space, and it was a comfortable place for Aunts and Uncle to join for bugers and dogs on the new grill. Steps to Rainbow Lake and a great forest walk across the dam.

Cute 2 bedroom with cement floors that are easy to clean and fenced yard was great for our pups! Kids went fishing for catfish in the lake right next door:)

We had a great time during our stay. The cabin was well kept and clean. Cozy beds and a few games on hand to play. Our kiddos and dog had a blast playing in the snow. We would stay again for sure! Host was very helpful before and during our stay. The area had a big snow storm come through and our host was checking in on us and the weather to make sure roads were clear before our trip. Would definitely recommend this cabin!

We had a fantastic time staying at this property. Ron was a great host and in contact as needed. The house is located very close to the lake, which we enjoyed for short walks with our dog. Always nice when you visit to go skiing and a snow storm comes that week! We made a nice snowman at the house and had a great time.

Overall we enjoyed our time staying here for the New Year! We loved the enclosed space for my dog who was able to run around freely and play knowing she wouldn’t be able to get out. The front yard/back yard are all enclosed on one space so my dog loved doing laps to tire herself out. There was a dog water/food bowl left out which was super thoughtful! It was more than enough space for 2 people and a dog to hang out for the weekend. Ron was very communicative and proactively provided check in/check out information as well as extras for things like the snow. The location is walking distance from the little lake and a short drive to a few great coffee shops. It is also quiet neighborhood which was perfect for our weekend getaway!
