Guest Access: Stroll up the street into our quaint downtown village with a variety of boutique shops, several world-class restaurants, a cozy wine and cheese bar, a local playhouse, a retro candy store, and a farmer’s market every Sunday morning. Stroll down the street and explore the beautiful beaches, the pier, beach running trail, and seaside parks. Or just stay in the condo to enjoy a relaxing day with a steady ocean breeze and quiet evenings with stunning sunsets. The area near the pier (2 min walk) has just about everything you might need in terms of restaurants, convenience stores, great coffee, and treats. You can also jump on the free San Clemente hop-on hop-off trolley here to ride up the hill to the Avenida Del Mar downtown village, shops, restaurants, outlet malls, and a farmer's market. The Neighborhood: Located in the San Clemente Pier Bowl which is like a small Spanish walking village with small cafes, a great coffee shop, ice cream, convenience store, two great restaurants, a waterfront park, and a beach walking trail. You could easily get by without using your car once during your stay. Getting Around: You can walk to just about everything you would need or take the free seasonal trolley to go even further. - Main beach at the pier (2 min walk) - 30 different restaurants (2-10 min walk) - T-street for boogie boarding and surfing (5 min walk down beach trail) - Coffee, ice cream, convenience store, and pizza (2 min) - Farmer's market every Sunday (5 min walk) - Boutiques (5-10 min walk) - Casa Romanica (5 min walk) - Community Center (5 min walk) - Outlets (10 min trolley ride) - Disney Land (45 min drive) - Lego Land (30 min drive) - San Diego (60 min drive) - LA (60 min drive) Other Things to Note: - Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7. - Strict quiet hours of 10pm to 8am. - This condo is in a fully-soundproofed 6-unit building with all six units owned and operated by us. Five of these units are one-bedroom and we also have a studio. Let us know if you need multiple units and we will try to give you adjacent units. This condo #1 of 6 - Up to two Pets can be allowed on a case by case basis with pre-approval. Due to the close proximity of neighbors, we can only take quiet, well-trained dogs less than 60lbs. A Pet fee of $20/night will apply for each approved pet. We have a small "dog park" on-site and San Clemente is pet-friendly :) - The unit is limited to a maximum of 4 guests. After three guests, additional guests will be charged at a rate of $25/person per night. Unit Privacy - There are security camera in outside common areas only (none inside units) - We have decibel sound meters in the kitchen and balcony areas of our condos to alert us to violations to our quiet hours. These devices do not record or listen in any way - only measure overall noise level. Noise Away Brand We also have a 3-bedroom condo and 2-bedroom condos available for rent right on Avenida Del Mar in the heart of the downtown village. The property was very much as described. It was perfect for 3 adults. The Murphy Bed is so comfortable, which was a surprise. The location is perfect, and having an assigned parking space is huge given how difficult it is to get parking in the area. My family says we should come back!

Absolutely stunning view of the ocean from the living room, the level of service was unbeatable, and it was a very short walk to the beach. This penthouse was actually better than the photos. It was equipped with every possible amenity, including all the gear you need for the beach, and on-site outside showers for after the beach. Our host Cathy was very responsive. She could not have been any better! This will be our first choice for accommodations when we return to San Clemente!

Rented this condo for 2 nights for a quick weekend trip, condo was clean, well organized, and very accomodating. The location is the main selling point since its a quick walk to the beach. balcony is nice since you can see the ocean clearly. price is not cheap but you pay for the great location, view, parking, and cleanliness.

We were greeted by music and a bottle of wine with an incredible sunset view from the balcony when we arrived. The hosts have thought of everything. The beds are very comfortable. The condo is steps away from the pier and several great restaurants but not so close that it feels busy or noisy. We will be back!

Great location for beach fun with everything we needed close by. Lots of food options near the condo and a short walk downtown. The condo was very clean. Amenities were very much appreciated and perfect for beach fun. The outside showers were perfect after a day at the beach. Quiet and comfortable with a beautiful view. Check in, check out convenient and easy. Cathy and Pete are excellent hosts. We will come back!

Me, my 19 year old daughter and 15 year old son thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day and 5 night stay at Casa Capistrano! Cathy and Peter were great hosts! Communicated efficiently and thoroughly. The condo was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our time in the condo and at the nearby beaches. We greatly appreciated having all the beach supplies available to use, umbrellas, beach chairs, boogy boards and more! The outdoor showers were fully stocked with shampoo and soap and towels...so nice! We loved having a designated parking spot at the condo as parking is very limited in that part of the town. The condo did have air conditioning which ended up being very nice to have as the days we were there did get warmer than usual. Even without AC, the condo did cool down very well with the screen doors open. I especially appreciated how quiet the condo was at night while sleeping. The San Clemente town was so quaint! Full of fun during the day and calm, and quiet at night. I loved that I didn't have to drive anywhere once we arrived at the condo. Everything we could need was in walking distance. I will definitely return and will stay in this same property in the future! Thank you, Cathy and Peter!
