About this house rental
Nestled in Key Largo, this charming house for $270 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Everything is in place to enjoy your vacation in Key Largo! This lovely condo is located in a quiet community with many amenities for all ages. Relax on the deck with a nice cocktail and enjoy the wildlife. Go snorkeling in the saltwater lagoon. Or, bicycle to the jetty and watch the beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the Atlantic. Children will enjoy the common area with its two pools and children's play area. The condo is furnished in Florida Keys style with all the amenities including three flat screen TVs and a great breakfast bar. High-Speed WiFi Internet for those not ready to unplug or working remotely. We allow pets, by exception. Please let us know if would like to bring your four-legged, furry family member. There is an additional $50 pet cleaning fee.

Really enjoyed our stay! Fun neighbors, quiet, beautiful view. Very comfy beds and couches. Only complaint is the downstairs shower. Turned up on high it has great flow but scalding hot. Turn it down to get it cooler and it slows to a trickle.

We really enjoyed the condo, the resort and Key Largo. We were especially grateful to be able to travel with our fur babies! We would definitely stay here again next time we are in Key Largo!

This home was perfect for our stay. It was close to John Pennekamp coral reef state park, many fishing charters and delicious restaurants. Not to mention the lagoon in the backyard that was fun to swim in. I definitely recommend staying here.

This Kawama community truly is amazing!! Between the snorkeling lagoon, pools, walking paths, beach, and sunsets from the jetty...there is so much to enjoy without ever leaving the property. The condo is cute, cozy, and has a great view. It's fully equipped with everything needed for a wonderful stay. We loved everything about it!!

The property is a really nice place. The pools and lagoon are great. Not crowded and pools are clean. The unit itself was nice as well. As a personal preference, need to replace the carpet with tile. Also, need more than 5 washclothes for a family of 5. Enjoyed our stay.

We had a very nice stay at the condo. It was very comfortable and as described. We had an issue with the downstairs shower. When you turned on the shower you could only get really hot water. If you tried turning the temperature down it just lessened the amount of water but not the temperature. So we could only use the upstairs shower which was a bummer when we all wanted a shower at the end of the day. I contacted the owner and he asked me if we wanted him to stop by. I messaged him back and said yes, if he had time, but we wouldn’t be there. I never heard back after that and the shower was still not working. Other than that the place was great!

This place has a huge amount of problems. It was certainly not worth the cost.
1. Front porch looked like the back room at Goodwill. All sorts of junk piled up. No room to sit and enjoy the sunset.
2.Kitchen at least 30 years old . Microwave taking up limited counter space. Apparently a disposal, but no switch. Ice maker made about five cubes a day.
3. All garbage was to be put in an open bin-- food, trash, and anything else-- Located in full view by the front door. No instructions as to what to do when it was filled up.
4. No instructions for TVs.
5. Floors on showers slippery, and no grab bars to hold on to.
6. We could not find a thermostat, so air conditioning going full blast whatever the outside conditions.
7. There was no dining room set. There was a table against the wall, that opened out. There were beds for 5, but only two dining room chairs.There were, however, several bridge table chairs stacked in the front porch.
8. Encountered a cockroach on the third day.

The property was immaculate. The host was so quick to respond with ideas for our visit. The neighborhood was so nice. The kitchen is well stocked with all cooking supplies. I would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the area!!!

We had a fantastic stay at Dan’s listing. Everything was as described and the level of service he gave was wonderful. Communication was excellent. The place was well kept, clean and had so many amenities to enjoy. The back porch area was so relaxing. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we made some unforgettable memories!

We had the best time staying at this property for our trip to the Keys with 3 kids (6, 10, 13). The unit was the perfect size for our family and well stocked with cooking and recreational gear. The kids had a blast in the pools and lagoon and the adults loved sitting out on the screened in porch for coffee & cocktails. Great location for exploring the upper keys - we took a couple of 1/2 day trips to Tavernier and Islamadora that were easy and fun! Would love to come back again!

We had a super stay at Kawama. The house was perfect for our needs as a family of 4. It was so nice to be able look out onto the lagoon from the back door and then have a BBQ and sit at the bar in the evenings.
I can imagine that it gets a bit more busy and noisy in the summer months but Easter was perfect - we would definitely think about rebooking!

This well-equipped condo served as a good base for exploration of the Everglades. We enjoyed the two porches, downstairs and upstairs, with views of the lagoon. The jetty is a good place to view the Gulf, and sunsets.

Despite hurricane Nicole being nearby, our stay was great. Good weather & perfect location. Dan is super nice & the rental had everything we needed. Kawama is a very nice, gated community. We enjoyed walking the property with our pet. We’d love to stay here again!

This was the best experience I've ever had with a rental property. The house was immaculately clean. The property came with so many great amenities. The private community was awesome and made me feel much more secure. And the location was perfect and close to everything we needed. The owner Daniel was also so kind and amazing. We ended up getting a nail in our tire and the tire was all but flat. Daniel was at the property doing some maintenance and came over to help me. He immediately offered to go to the store to look for something to fix it and then he left to do just that. He came back with fix a flat and helped me get the tire inflated enough to get it somewhere to get more air and get it fixed. I couldn't recommend this property more. I will 100% be staying here on any future trips to Key Largo.

We had a great time at this rental property. The lagoon was great to snook in. There is a walking trail around the Lagoon. There is a jetting you can bicycle too. Place was clean. If we need anything we just send a text fast response time. I would stay here again.

I have stayed at some pretty amazing places, but this place tops them all. I was very hesitant renting due to a couple comments on this particular VRBO, but I had a feeling. I just can’t imagine what people could complain about. This owner has thought of absolutely everything. The extras go on and on and on. This rental is located in Key Largo and is situated where it’s a completely private atmosphere but yet you are close to everything. John Pennekamp State Park is just a few miles North where we went on a boat tour and snorkeling. The restaurants in the area are amazing and the owner has numerous recommendations. There is actually a lagoon that you can swim, kayak and snorkel in steps from your back porch. There are two swimming pools and this is the coldest pool we swam in while visiting Key Largo when the temperature was 95°. So refreshing. This owner actually provides two kayaks with paddles, fishing poles, beach chairs, beach towels, bicycles, water fins and masks for snorkeling. The front porch is equipped with a grill, table with chairs and outdoor lights. The back porch is screened in and your view is the lagoon. There are four chairs on that porch. Outside the screened in patio there are even more chairs. There is an upstairs patio that also has seating. Both screened in patios have ceiling fans. The kitchen is fully equipped two coffee makers, every pot and pan you would possibly need to make a meal, a nice refrigerator and lots of extras that you wouldn’t expect. Two kinds of soap in every bathroom, toilet paper to get you started paper towels, dish soap etc….. The place itself was absolutely immaculate. Truthfully the cleanest rental I have ever had. There is a front security gate which is manned 24 hours. There is a private beach area, dock and marina. Absolutely no drama checking in or out, you receive the code, enter in lock and you’re in and can enjoy immediately. You park directly in front of your unit and there are two spots. Every room has a ceiling fan and the beds were comfortable. The place is decorated with the Florida Keys beach vibe. I am so glad I went with my gut on this one because this truly is a special place! We will be back!!!

The home was clean and comfortable, the host was exceptionally welcoming and friendly and responsive, and the Kawama property with the snorkeling lagoon full of fish and lobsters was amazing. I have been visiting Key Largo for years but now that I've found this place, I can't imagine staying anywhere else! Highly recommend.
