Located in Stateline, this charming condo for $46 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. ## Space Amazing Location! Literally 1.5 blocks from Highway 50 and Stateline and only a 6-minute walk to Heavenly Village & Gondola, casinos, and restaurants. This is a private studio as part of a boutique 12-unit self-serve accommodation. Completely renovated in 2020, this unit comes with a private bath, kitchenette w/Keurig machine, and a king bed as well as a work desk. Equipped with a smart TV and on-demand streaming services (occupant needs to have subscription service/no cable). All TVs and wifi are connected to Gigabit cable connectivity. NOISE DISCLAIMER: This unit is next to Unit 1. It is possible to hear noises coming from above you. We notify the upstairs guests of this and let them know to please be respectful of their noise level to not disturb next-door guests. Should you have any issues with this, please call our dedicated hospitality line and we will reach out to the guests to remedy the situation immediately. *NO PARTIES: We have a strict 'No Party' policy-parties or events are not allowed. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 pm to 8 am.* *PETS: ONLY 1 PET ALLOWED (N/A to service animals, applicable to ESA's). A $50/pet fee will apply and pets can not be left unattended in your room. Please advise at the time of booking, we will send a request for pet fee payment which is due upon receipt. ## Access The unit is accessed off of Poplar St. and has direct access from the parking area and has 1 assigned parking spot, space #1. This unit is completely private with its own locked entry. The doors are all equipped with smart locks, a unique code will be generated and sent to you 2 days prior to your stay. There are 2 shared gas BBQs in the parking area. Interaction This is a self-serve stay. We are an off-site host, there is no front desk and we provide contactless self-check-in. We have a dedicated hospitality department in case of emergencies. Electric car charging (shared amenity) Unit spots 1,2 and 3 share one Tesla charger. Unit spots 4,5 and 6 share one J1775. Unit spots 7 and 8 share one Tesla charger. Unit spots 9,10 and disability spot share one Tesla charger. Unit spots 12, 11, and 1 share one Tesla and one J1775 charger. We do not provide adapters if your vehicle does not match your available charger. Please do not leave your vehicle plugged in when not charging to allow other guests to have charging access. Should you require access to another charger type, please reach out to our hospitality team to coordinate access with other guests. Neighborhood Located within a 5-minute walk to the world-renowned Heavenly Village and Gondola, Gordon Ramsey Hell's Kitchen, casinos, and only a 10-minute walk to Lakeside Beach (private, access fee required). This location is ideal for those working remotely (with Gigabit internet connectivity) while enjoying everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer. Transit The Stateline Transit Center and Heavenly Gondola are only 4 blocks away. Notes For security, there are cameras facing the parking lot. Cancellation Policy Full refund if canceled 24 hours in advance, minus 4% credit card transaction fee if booked directly or via VRBO.

We really enjoyed our stay! Could not beat the location, we could walk right to the gondola in the village with our gear, no worries of parking! Bedding was super cozy, fireplace kept us warm, and it was really nice having basic kitchen amenities. Check in and out could not have been easier. The only complaint we had was that the last night we had some neighbors in unit 1 that kept slamming their cupboards, but they did at least mostly adhere to the quiet hours. If it had gotten bad we could have used the provided ear plugs, but we didn't need them.

Maybe just bad luck - fireplace never turned on and temperature not over 68 degrees. All else excellent. Especially location - perfect distance from casinos and restaurants.

Pro- Very convenient location, very clean, functional and updated. Con- Door lock system is a pain in the a——. Really! T.V. is poorly located- only one person can watch. And there is no live t.v. Streaming is fine- but some of us still like to watch current news and sports

Everything was great. Loved the location also. The ONLY thing that was a little difficult was the tv being on the wall beside the bed. It was a little difficult watching it sideways from the bed.

This property was perfect for us. Close to everything but not in the middle of the crowds. The room was clean and peaceful. Love having the fireplace going for heat. We will definitely be back.

This was a very nice place to stay! Very clean, updated, and had everything we needed. The staff was very professional and helpful when communicating with us. The only downside was that the walls are very thin, and we could clearly hear the people staying next to us. Overall, it was great though!

Former motel that has been 'tarted up'. Rooms are small but updates make it feel a little less like a former motel. Value is in the location if you want lake, concert or gambling access as well as skiing though there isn't much room for gear. Website makes the rooms look bigger than they are. Most are converted motel rooms that while update are starved for space. No place to hang out on the property except a metal chair in front of each room. Dorm fridge and just the bare essentials for 2 people Couldn't imaging storing skits there. Bed comfortable. Communications was odd as they contacted me by mistake twice thinking I was the guest next to us, but just a terse text when they figured out they contacted the wrong person. We didn't stay in the room much as it wasn't that comfortable to hang out. If you are not planning on staying the in room much, might be overpriced. Seems expensive compared to other places that may not photograph as nice but might be better value.

This VRBO was beautifully decorated and bed was amazingly comfortable. All the amenities were perfect. Walking distance to shops, dining and short walk to the beach. I would love to stay here again

The room was super clean and comfy! The host made sure to include everything we needed for our stay and was super friendly! Great location, a nice taco stand less than a minute away and the Heavenly center less than a 10 minute walk. Definitely would stay again!

I’m so happy that I found this gem of a place to stay in South Lake! My partner and I are avid snowboarders, and visit South Lake quite frequently every winter. We usually stay in one of the casinos but sometimes it’s nice to be away from the crowds. South Lake Chalet is tucked away on a quiet backstreet, just steps away from the action. The unit that we stayed in was super clean and cozy, with a nice little kitchenette including a Kuereg coffee maker (with complimentary pods and creamers) microwave and mini fridge. The bed was very comfy and we enjoyed the fireplace keeping us warm at night. Management was very informative and responsive to our questions. We hope to book here again soon’

Such a beautiful Chalet and wonderful place to stay. Only a couple of challenges. Unlocking or locking the door a challenge for both me & husband. Inside the room is gorgeous. The fireplace is relaxing, warm, lovely. We couldn't turn off flames in evening and kept us awake. I am sure our group of friends plan to be there next year too. A great time.

Very good price, clean room, nicely updated. Comfortable bed, the heating and air work great. Fireplace is a nice touch of ambiance. My only issue the walls are thin so you can hear a lot of what’s going on around you. Host was very responsive whenever I had a question or problem, and they were quick to fix any issues (split unit was displaying error code. The remotely took care of it.) overall had a nice stay. Would stay again.

The host is very friendly, helpful, and responsive. However, our overall stay could have been better. The location is great and the room is overall clean with modern style of interior decoration. However, there was one towel showing black shoe step on it, hopefully it was washed but just not washed off. And something we really cannot get used to is how thin the wall is. I can hear clearly what exactly the neighbors are talking. We had activities during the day but we could not sleep well at night because of all the noises from neighbors until late night, which made our overall trip somewhat tiring because lack of sleep.
