About this condo rental
Located in Stateline, this lovely condo for $44 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. ## Space Amazing Location! Literally 1.5 blocks from Highway 50 and Stateline. Within a stone's throw of Heavenly Village & Gondola, casinos and restaurants.This is a private studio as part of a boutique 12 unit self-serve accommodation. Completely renovated in 2020, this unit comes with an en-suite bath with an oversized shower, kitchenette w/Keurig machine and a King bed as well as a work desk. Equipped with a smart TV and on-demand streaming services (occupant needs to have subscription service/no cable). All TVs and wifi are connected to Gigabit cable connectivity. *NO PARTIES: We have a strict 'No Party' policy-parties or events are not allowed. Quiet hours are enforced from 10pm-8am.* *PETS: ONLY 1 PET ALLOWED (N/A to service animals, applicable to ESA's). A $50/pet fee will apply and pets can not be left unattended in your room. Please advise at the time of booking, we will send a request for pet fee payment which is due upon receipt. Pets brought onsite without permission/payment are subject to a $250 fine. ## Access The unit is accessed off of Poplar Ave and has direct access from the parking area and has 1 assigned parking spot, space #8. This unit is completely private with its own locked entry. The doors are all equipped with smart locks, a unique code will be generated and sent to you 2 days prior to your stay. Interaction This is a self-serve stay. We are an off-site host, there is no front desk and we provide contactless self-check-in. We have a dedicated hospitality department in case of emergencies. Electric car charging (shared amenity) Unit spots 1,2 and 3 share one Tesla charger. Unit spots 4,5 and 6 share one J1775. Unit spots 7 and 8 share one Tesla charger. Unit spots 9,10 and disability spot share one Tesla charger. Unit spots 12, 11, and 1 share one Tesla and one J1775 charger. We do not provide adapters if your vehicle does not match your available charger. Please do not leave your vehicle plugged in when not charging to allow other guests to have charging access. Should you require access to another charger type, please reach out to our hospitality team to coordinate access with other guests. Neighborhood Located within a 5-minute walk to the world-renowned Heavenly Village and Gondola, Gordon Ramsey Hell's Kitchen, casinos, and only a 10-minute walk to Lakeside Beach (private, access fee required). This location is ideal for those working remotely (with Gigabit internet connectivity) while enjoying everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer. Transit The Stateline Transit Center and Heavenly Gondola are only 4 blocks away. Notes For security, there are cameras facing the parking lot. Cancellation Policy Full refund if canceled 24 hours in advance, minus 4% credit card transaction fee if booked directly or via VRBO.

I give this place an all 5 stars! It’s a great place to stay. It’s located in the heart of the town and a walking distance to restaurants, shops, ski resort and the lake . The place is very clean with very comfortable bed and pillows. I’ll be booking with South Lake Chslet the head time I’ll be in the area again. Thank you SLC.

Simple things, like where to store your clothing, are lacking. There are no drawers for storing clothing, nor is there a place/space for "setting up" an open suitcase. Makes it a bit cumbersome when it comes to selecting/changing clothes, etc

The South Lake Chalet exceeded my expectations. Check in was super easy. Location was amazing, just 3 minutes walking to Heavenly shopping center. The room itself was so cozy and had everything we needed. Very cute and modern. The price was very affordable as well. Definitely recommend staying here!

There are many pluses to this property - clean, quiet, comfortable bed, large bathroom, pretty renovated room, and great location. I rarely leave reviews but a few smaller issues impacted our overall enjoyment enough that I feel compelled to share. First - no drawer space, just a hanging rod for clothes and then a basically useless wooden shelf WAY up above it that even my 6'1" husband couldn't reach and one small open shelf below which we used for our shoes (it wasn't large enough to accommodate 2 people's folded ski and regular clothes and I don't want to stare at our socks & underwear anyway). I did mention this to management and they responded that they were sorry I was unhappy but the online photos and room description didn't show/mention dressers. I guess I just took it for granted that all hotel rooms offered a place to put away all your clothes. The room was pretty small overall and there weren't any folding luggage racks available, so we were challenged to find enough space to keep our suitcases out and open without stepping over them. I wasn't happy about living out of a suitcase for four days. I put mine bedside on the floor and my husband put his up on the small desk. Our other main issue was it was too high tech!. Granted, we're both 60+ and this probably doesn't bother the younger crowd...LOL. I knew when we received a lengthy check-in email that something was up. There were instructions on how to open and lock the electronic door, plus there was a 9 digit code to enter so every time we got back to the room I had to pull out my phone to get the code that I screenshot. The a/c unit on the wall wasn't easy to figure out and then one night the fireplace kept turning off and on by itself, which was bizarre. Management was immediately responsive, but pointed out that all my questions could be answered in the check-in email. My thought was, to be honest, we're on vacation and I was irritated to take time to refer back through all the instructions for things that should be no-brainers. We never did figure out how to get "regular" TV/cable and didn't care for the "off-brand" channels that were offered. Lastly, on check-out day we were asked to clean up. I'm normally one of the cleanest guests and will leave a room in great shape anyway, but I don't think you should be expected/required to take out your trash and wash your few dishes.

Truly the cutest little suite! It was so clean and cozy. My only complaint would be the thin walls. You can hear your neighbors next door, otherwise everything was great! Such a close walk to heavenly village, even in the snow!

Even though it snowed more than 3 feet, my friends and I had a great time in Tahoe. The location was perfect; we we’re able to walk downtown for dinner and to the gondola. We also got to wake up to great views of the mountain. I look forward to going back.

The unit was very clean, nice furnishings, and perfect for 1-2 people. I walked to the beach each day, and there were stores and restaurants within walking distance, too. Loved the swiss shower, and the Keurig coffee maker with k-pods and cream/sugar supplied. Has fridge and microwave, too. Bed was super comfy. Will be coming back here no doubt next time I am in Tahoe.

Process was organized and efficient. We felt "in the loop" throughout and all the information we needed to have a smooth check in / check out and a pleasant stay was provided for us. The room was very nice, clean, modern, with a comfortable bed. Perhaps a little smaller than we thought based on the pictures, but not a problem for us at all. We quite enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect if you want to be close to all the activity and action of South Lake Tahoe and Stateline.

After a long full day of travel, delayed flights, nearly missed shuttle connections...the chalet #8 on Poplar Avenue in South Lake Tahoe was a dream. Everything was perfect! It was immaculate with beautiful decor. The bed and bedding were of the highest quality and extremely comfortable. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

I was very pleased and satisfied with the room. It was comfortable and clean. That alone warrants 5-stars. I wasn't expecting the location area to be the way it was - sort of like a motel city. But that's my fault for not doing more research around the area. However, there were no issues. It was conveniently located to shops, restaurants and bars. That was nice. The only minor complaint I had was that there is construction of a new building underway directly across the street. The construction noise started daily at 7:00 am. (none on Saturday). That was a bit of a bummer and it would have been nice to have been informed of this when making the booking.
