With sleeping for 6, this updated 2 bed, 1 bath home will be the perfect getaway for you and your family. New window A/C ! Bedroom 1- 1 King size bed Bedroom 2- Bunk Bed with 1 Full size bed, 1 Twin size bed, 1 Twin size trundle bed 110 W Francis St. Ironwood, MI I'm available to assist throughout your stay, ensuring a seamless experience. Feel free to reach out via Airbnb messages or phone. Your comfort is my priority, and I'm here to make your visit exceptional. Quiet neighborhood. You will need a car to get around the area. We have 2 driveways to park in and plenty of room for a truck and trailer. You can also park in the street in the spring/summer/fall. Winter, you cannot park in the street. Close proximity to Walmart for groceries. Our home is furnished with all you need to cook at home or you can enjoy many of the local dining areas just minutes away.

Drove two hours of icy roads to and fro Iron Mountain/Duluth. Stayed one of three nights booked. Only due to no snow to ski on in Michigan. Tried to contact owner first night to see if we could work something out, but still have had no communication. Great home, great location, no communication with owner.

House was cute on the outside with a nice back/side yard and fire pit. (unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there so we didn't get to use it) The inside was very clean and totally stocked with most everything you would need. Books on the area to look at and easy in/out access. We would definately come back.

As locals who have moved away, this was a great place to stay to come back to the UP to visit. We were happy to be able to bring our dogs, and enjoyed playing fetch in the large yard. The house was well-stocked and clean. Floors are very squeaky which made it difficult to move around the house when our child was sleeping, but all part of the charm of an older home. It’s so nicely refinished, and we would choose to stay here again. The location is in a quiet residential neighborhood, several blocks from the downtown area - would be perfect biking distance to the local trails.

Cottage is well equipped and a very nice place to relax after skiing. Hills are close, bed is comfy and Ashley was super responsive to my questions. I would consider the place Ultra clean as welll. Definitely would stay here again.

This place was spotless. Our expectations are very high and we were not dissapointed . This was not just surface clean like some places, it was spotless and smelled clean. I skied while my wife and our dog hung out on the property. I had a great time skiing and Sue Ellen and our dog Reacher enjoyed the quiet time at the house.

Great Location for Waterfalls
We have wanted to check out the waterfalls in WI in that corner of the state. In doing our research we found that the UP has many more. This house was a perfect "home" base to hit 20 waterfalls in one weeks. None were "that" far away at all. We saw Bond Falls, and were close to check out the sea caves in the Apostle Islands....and so much in between. The Whitehouse Cottage was just a great place for us to come and go from. It has a window AC which kept the larger bedroom super comfy...and where we had our two Shelties stay in their crates when we were out. The kitchen had everything needed for the basic cooking we did. Everything made it a great stay. To top it off Ironwood had an amazing bakery - Rigoni's. And the Iron Nugget in Hurley had great food. Super place to get away too!

Wonderful Winter Wonderland
Our winter trip to Ironwood was perfect and it all started with our stay at the Whitehouse Cottage. The cottage was clean and cozy, our three children and German Shepherd were perfectly comfortable. The host has done a nice job of maximizing the smaller space and have great taste in decor. The host is also extremely responsive both prior to our trip with recommendations and during our stay to fix a very small problem with a faucet. The property was positioned perfectly for us to ride snowmobiles one day and then spend the next skiing at Powderhorn. Highly recommend spending your time up north at the Cottage!

We go to ironwood a lot for ski races and this was the bast rental we have ever had. Super cute and well decorated home, super clean, well stocked with extra blankets and all the kitchen gadgets/small appliances you could ask for! This was a fantastic house in a great location for skiing and snowmobiling! The house is very cozy, clean and has everything! The house is on a nice street and very close to everything in Ironwood, hurley WI and all 3 ski resorts! Would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again! While we're growing as a family, the bunk bed fit an adolescent and kid in their mid childhood years very comfortably. The cleanliness and comfort levels of the house above average and better than most hotels.
The owner was overly accommodating! We were provided information on time and received notifications right away about any questions that came up. Even when we forgot an item at the house, they made every effort for us to get it back. Thank you very much for that!

We loved our stay at the Whitehouse cottage! Great location- easy to get to surrounding falls, hiking trails, beaches. The cottage had everything our family needed for a comfortable stay! Very comfortable beds!!! We enjoyed the local brewery which was very close as well as plum & honey creamery (ice-cream shop) so good! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend!!
