Watch the sun set over the Pacific from the deck of this serene and completely private cottage overlooking the pristine Gaviota Coast, halfway between Santa Barbara and the Santa Ynez Valley. The Tack Room is in close proximity to wine tasting, sight seeing, hiking and beautiful beaches. This land was formerly part of the Chumash tribal range.

Anna was extremely responsive and proactive and so kind about giving us a tour. The set up is beautiful with a lovely deck for relaxing in the midst of an avocado grove. Access to beaches, UCSB, Solvang and Santa Barbara is easy (especially for UCSB graduation as you are opposite the direction of traffic). HIGHLY recommend!

We had a lovely weekend at this cute, rustic cabin. The views are beautiful and the deck is a real highlight—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The cabin itself has charm, though it feels a bit dated and could benefit from a refresh. It’s also quite isolated, with about a 15-minute drive to reach restaurants or grocery stores, so plan ahead. Overall, a peaceful getaway if you’re looking for quiet and scenery.

Anna, the host, was very welcoming and the property was really nice - very clean, bright and inviting. It is a beautiful and special location - in the midst of an avacado orchard with a great view of the ocean. Extremely peaceful, private and quiet.
