Situated in Breckenridge, this lovely house for $926 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Welcome to Wandering Moose, an upscale escape that combines mountain elegance and modern design situated in a private neighborhood on Breck’s Peak 10. At the end of an exhilarating day of mountain adventure, return to this lavish 5,500 square foot ski home designed for entertaining and offering the highest level of comfort. Upon arrival through the front door, guests will be immediately drawn into the open concept main level which combines the great room, dining area, and gourmet kitchen. This wide-open layout flows nicely onto the large deck that is situated adjacent to the great room through oversized sliding glass doors, inviting outdoor entertaining. With its vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, and large windows offering an abundance of natural light and views of the surrounding mountains, the great room will be a popular place to relax beside the gas fireplace or enjoy a good movie curled up on the leather sofa. A conversation area with two more chairs and a side table offers the perfect space to get lost in a good book – or enjoy a glass of wine with your significant other while the snow falls in the background. The dining area sits on the opposite side of the great room and features a large dining table that comfortably seats 12 in chair and bench combination seating; additional seating is available at the kitchen island. The gorgeous kitchen is outfitted with professional-grade appliances, expansive granite countertops, two sinks, and two dishwashers. Just beyond the kitchen is a convenient mudroom with ample space to store your warm winter clothing and ski gear - as well as a clothes dryer that will resolve any wet clothing issues in a breeze. From the mudroom, you will have access to the 2-car garage. A powder bath is also situated on the main level. Two spacious suites occupy the upper level, each featuring a king bed, TV, and luxurious ensuite with a soaking tub. A loft area with a desk and sleeper sofa offers additional sleeping or a quiet space to tend to any work while on vacation. The lower level is host to the three remaining bedrooms including two fun bunk rooms with a shared bath, a spacious king bedroom suite, and the media room. Enjoy watching the latest movies or your favorite sports teams on the huge projection screen or try out the four-player upright arcade game with over 100 games for additional entertainment. Easily access the private outdoor hot tub and lower-level patio through the sliding glass doors. Wandering Moose is designed to deliver the ultimate vacation experience on your next trip to Breckenridge. This home is pet-friendly with an additional $950 cleaning fee and written approval. Please contact us for details. Guests have use of the washer and dryer and a two-bay heated garage with parking for 4 cars total. 4-WHEEL DRIVE REQUIRED in winter months. Regretfully, weddings and events are not permitted in Moving Mountains homes. ABOUT THE AREA Ideally located on Peak 10, Wandering Moose offers easy access to all things Breckenridge. In the Winter months, experienced skiers and riders can walk approximately 9 minutes to access the Burro Trail which will connect you to Peak 9 or 10. The Burro Trail is also a great option for cross country skiing or snowshoeing in the winter – and hiking in the summer. A free skier shuttle is located 3 doors down from Wandering Moose, less than 100 yards, and will whisk skiers and riders to the slopes in minutes: available mid-December through April. Easily access Breck’s Main Street, located less than 2 miles from Wandering Moose, and enjoy the wonderful dining and shopping. SHUTTLE This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis. GUEST SERVICES Moving Mountains has a Guest Services Team, offering full-service vacation planning assistance prior to your trip. You will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will guide you through all the activities and services available. You will also have access to our online Guest Portal where you can find extensive details about your reservation, your residence and guest services. IN HOME AMENITIES All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, Nespresso, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances. This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee. We love this home! Our holiday was wonder. From location to cleanliness, and having everything we needed for our vacation. The property management company and their shuttle service was fantastic. The group went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We enjoyed it so much and plan to return in March.

The house is vey nice but had multiple issues during the stay which made a few days of the trip unpleasant. The Wifi in the house was out most of time and with poor cell service there it was very difficult to use a phone and computer use was out of the question. Also the water to the house turned off one day with a loud alarm we had to continually rest the system to keep the house water flowing. And one of the room had bedbugs and everyone in that room was bitten. The staff was very good to try and correct the issues but would never go back for that price other options are available!!

We loved the home!! It was very clean, and all appliances etc.. worked well!
We prefer staying in homes that aren’t in a “neighborhood” would have appreciated an accurate description in the listing. We could see our neighbors and they could see us from inside our home. It was our fault to some degree for not checking google maps but if the listing had been more forthcoming we would not need to verify the “views” using google maps!
Regardless we had a great time and loved the house minus the “views” of people instead of wide open views of mountains etc..

We had a wonderful stay at Wandering Moose, felt like true luxury from the fully stocked kitchen, pristine setting, thoughtful finishes and excellent service from Moving Mountains. We stayed 4 nights for our first Spring ski trip. This home and the beautiful mountain escape town of Breckenridge did not disappoint!

Spaces and amenities were plentiful. Stocked with everything you need - from games, hot tub towels and plastic cups, and especially double dishwashers and washer/dryers. Bonus was the wildlife right outside (moose and fox).

This is a perfect place for our family of 9 adults and 1 teenager to make our family vacation a warm memory. The home has a panoramic view of the mountains plus wildflowers and a fox which visits. We enjoyed the management’s gifts. The home is spacious. We enjoy cooking; the kitchen had everything thing we could need and more. The large dining table was great for eating and for playing games. The hot tub was used often - but not any of the large tvs that were available.

Delightful getaway
We were delighted to host our blended family for several days of fun in Breckenridge. The Wandering Moose is one of the most comfortable and well equipped places I’ve ever stayed. The check in process was easy and the staff of Paragon was attentive and thoughtful. Can’t wait to return!

Spacious, beautiful, and sooo close to shuttle
This is a beautiful house at the top of warriors mark. We love this neighborhood. They’re all beautiful homes in good condition. Here’s what stands this out above the rest: The home had washers and dryers upstairs and downstairs (plus a dryer for your outdoor clothes in the mud room), there were generous supplies of paper products, trash bags and washing soaps, and the shuttle stops almost at this exact house. It is RIGHT there. Everything was perfect. It was more than comfortable for 14 people.

This house is remarkable, beautifully decorated with high end touches. There are two master suites which is great if you have more than one family. The views are lovely, at the end of a quiet cul de sac. It was very recently renovated and the owner/designer thought of everything. Two washer and dryer sets and an extra dryer in the very large pantry/ski storage area. Truly an amazing home. We have already rebooked for spring skiing. The home is managed by Paragon Lodging, they were very attentive and helpful when we had an issue with a CO2 detector. You won’t regret booking this home.
