Things to Know This home is dog-friendly Streaming is available using your own account This property is managed by Vacasa New Mexico LLC. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). We had a wonderful stay at Southwestern Serenity. The house is in a perfect location, close to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. The house is clean and spacious with beautiful vigas in the ceiling. The hot tub was an added bonus and felt amazing as we gazed at stars at night.

This property was a great place for two couples to spend time in Taos. One of the bedroom configurations included two adjoining rooms that could serve as a family suite (i.e. two adjacent rooms with sliding door between them where parents and kids could stay, with access to their own bathroom). The other room was just off the Kitchen and eating area, which is where my wife and I stayed. We also had access to our own bathroom. The kitchen was nice, and included cookware and utensils. The house has a living room and a small family room w/TV. I almost think they could flip-flop that and make the bigger room a family room w/TV, and the smaller room a small den. The house did not have air condition, but we actually did not need it. The design of the house kept the indoor temp around 72ish, while out door temps where high 80s. All-in-all it was a great stay in a somewhat secluded area.

The house was close to everything Taos had to offer. We were in a quiet setting with a huge backyard that our dogs loved. The house was roomy, comfortable and clean.

Dirty, Dirty, dirty, buggy, horrible mattresses, very dingy and everything except the linens were dirty. The floors were filthy the kitchen dirty. The curtain rod on the door to the patio was broken. It was old, dirty and in need of new mattresses, and exterminator VRBO or Vacasa properties again.

We liked the Taos house called Southwestern Serenity but we had trouble with the lock box checking in and departing. The house’s kitchen ware was woefully inadequate. There were minimal pots and pans and many of the dishes were cracked and chipped. We knew the house didn’t have AC when we rented it but we wrongly assumed it would have fans. We ended up buying 3 fans.

Really enjoyed our stay! One recommendation would be a window air conditioner. Otherwise hot tub was great and home was very roomy! Would recommend to others!

The house was exactly as advertised. Lots of open indoor space to let our small kids run around and an enclosed backyard we could let them loose in. The town is nice with the usual tourist shopping, but the best part is all the hiking and gorgeous views available. Definitely would stay here again.

The house was perfect for 7 ladies to stay for a weekend get away. It was quiet yet close to Taos and shopping. You have to provide all food, coffee, spices and unique utensils if you’re going to be cooking at the home. This wasn’t disclosed without me asking the question from the host. Very clean!

The good: Walkable location, had everything we needed, kitchen was well stocked, appreciated the firewood. The bad: no pillowcases, shower did not work in 2nd bath, sofa cover in family room was extremely worn and dirty.

The house is very spacious and comfortable. Easy to cook meals. Would be good to add more kitchen utensils and plates/bowls. Close to shopping and grocery store. Perfect location to get to all ski resorts.
