The house was great. I did not love the location when I arrived. Over the course of my stay there was someone parked in front of my house sleeping in their car. The houses across the street were run down. There was some kind of police raid in one of the homes on the block duing my stay. But the house itself and all its ammenties were great. Sofa had a bit of a wet dog smell so likely needs a good cleaning.

Perfect! Everything was so clean and so fresh! We loved the house! Master is fabulous addition, also.

We loved our stay at the Classic Cottage, you can tell the owners really love the property and as a result it has a beautiful and very relaxing vibe. The home’s layout makes so many useable and enjoyable indoor and outdoor spaces. Great street and neighborhood as well. We have vacationed many years in Santa Barbara usually at hotels and this was better in every way! Santa Barbara Vacation Rentals also really do an exceptional job, everything was clean, set up perfectly and they were responsive and just very nice people to deal with. We will definitely be back!

I chose this home as my daughter was getting married in Santa Barbara on 5/6 and wanted to have me rent a home to get dressed and hair and makeup done for bridal party, myself and the groom’s mom. The home was exactly as it is pictured! It was just lovely! The guest house master was where my daughter stayed the night before wedding, and the morning of was wonderful! All 7 girls and hair, makeup and photographers, loved the home! The surfboards outside made a wonderful backdrop for pictures, and the guest master was perfect for “the grand reveal” to her bridesmaids. I would definitely stay here again! Two things though: 1. The rug in front of the sink needs to be either replaced or just taken away. The sides are badly curled, and after being in the house only 10 minutes, my sister and I both tripped on it, so we took it away during our stayand replaced it this morning before we left. 2. The deck outside and lower patios were in dire need of blowing. Both areas were densely covered with the tree droppings. The front yard also needed to be cleaned up.. I did go ahead (after finding a leaf blower in shed), and went and cleaned both the backyard and front yard. I think the neighbors to the left thought I was the owner! 3. Lights on tree next to deck are all out with exception of the very bottom of the tree: lights that we’re supposed to illuminate surfboards at night were not working. Otherwise we had a fabulous time and would recommend highly! If I’m ever back in Santa Barbara, I would love to stay there again!! Thank you! Best, Jackie- NJ

This charming house and additional bedroom cottage was the perfect place to stay while visiting Santa Barbara to celebrate my mom’s birthday. She was thrilled with her darling cottage while my adult daughter and I stayed in the main house. We all loved the decor and everything was clean and fresh. I’d definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Great location on a quiet street for shopping and playground nearby. Dog and child friendly fenced yard. Well equipped kitchen. Updated home and all in working order. Windows need screens. Our stay in October with cool nights was fine without A/C. Room darkening shades would be a great addition. Will definitely plan to return. Lisa S. Edwards CO

We rented this home for a girls’ weekend. Pictures are very accurate. It was impeccably clean with 2 lovely bedrooms with large comfortable beds off the family room. Lovely coach house/bedroom with king bed and separate bath and very nice outdoor deck with nice furniture. Close to State Street and waterfront. Highly recommend this home for 3-4 people.
