This house had so many comfortable places to lounge and two big tables made games really fun. Ive never cared for ping pong, but it was so much fun to play with the kids

7 adults enjoyed staying comfortably at the cabin. Great location, especially for this time of year. We drove through herds of elk to get to the cabin more than once. We would use this cabin again if with a large group again. Also seemed to have lots of stuff for young children.

2 couples, near 65, we travel lots. The first impression is rough, as the grass hasn’t been mowed in a long time. The facia boards on the front of the house need paint in a BIG WAY. There was a big, sticky stain right in front of the front door, which we had to dodge all week. Inside was as advertised, quite spacious.
The Direct TV wasn’t working Saturday and until we texted Karine (Property Mgr) on Monday after getting back from RMNP. Karine contacted the owner, and the bill was paid quickly. We had to do a work around until then.
My biggest problem was the horrible pillows. Nothing close to a medium, they were all paper thin. The other couples’ biggest issue was the hot water as they showered. It would go from hot to ice cold in the blink of an eye. Seems they use a recirculating hot water system to heat the place, and it pulls water as needed/ when needed. The other couple also reported some sort of short in the master bedroom ( he’s a literal rocket scientist).
The last negative from me (an old hotel guy for 38 years) is the threat of being charged $25 if we didn’t empty our own trash cans on departure day. We paid a substantial cleaning fee, and they can’t empty the trash?! I thought that was absurd.
The ladies stressed how clean the place was inside. Other than the things mentioned above, it’s a nice place. Quite a lot of space, and the furnishings were comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with silverware, pots, and pans.

Great visit and the location was perfect. Quiet neighborhood.
The not so good:
* One of the dryers i(laundry closet) not working. Puts out heat but doesn’t tumble.
* Backdoor screens are falling off of tracks.
* Airbed may have a leak. It deflated during the night.
Finally. I broke one of wine glasses.

We were three families who stayed in the property for a week. Check-in was easy. The location of the house was quiet and had fantastic views of the mountains. It was also not too far from downtown. The amenities were complete, and everyone had enough space for themselves. My toddler absolutely loved the converted garage/game room and spent many hours playing and making art in the kid's table.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Estes Park. The house was clean and well-kept. Karine promptly responded to our inquiries. Would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. Thank you!

We loved this place! It was great to be able to stay at Eagle’s Nest. It was only a 45 minute drive for us. The garage had been made into a playroom and the kids loved having their own space. Everything was as described. The house was close to downtown so we could make as many trips as necessary. It was close to hiking areas. We will stay here again mid the opportunity arises.

Three days in Estes Park
This was a great place to stay. Close to everything and roomy enough for everyone to feel they has their own space. I highly recommend.

Wonderful place for family reunions
The bedrooms were very big and having 3 bathrooms was very nice. The tables and chairs were perfect as we play A LOT of board games.
The location is close to the entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park which was very convenient.
The garage has a ping pong table which was a nice touch.

Excellent location
Our family of five visited for five nights during the 4th of July week.
Pros: Excellent location (close to both the town and RMNP), quiet neighborhood, plenty of space, kids enjoyed the game area in garage space, wildlife in the surrounding area (elk, deer) sometimes in the yard. For those visiting during the 4th of July, you can see the fireworks from the back yard. Quick responses from the property manager pre check in.
Cons: The house is a dated and it's probably time for a refresh on appliances and some furniture. This house does not have AC which is probably okay 300 days of the year but it was very warm in the home for several days during our visit (85F indoors). We did open windows and use box fans but some windows needed to be propped open and held with items we could find around the home because the tension springs didn't work (again, probably time to replace windows in the home). There were lots of fans provided, most worked, and using them at night helped to keep the house cooler. Again, the description of the home does not state that it has an AC, so this was clear. Just wanted to raise the point and recommend either installing an AC or upgrading windows since this is a rental property, and given the premium per night rate, should not require as much work for the tenants who are on vacation (many other homes in the neighborhood have AC). We were also a little disappointed with the lack of some normal supplies, shampoo, conditioner, coffee, etc that we see at many other VRBOs where we've stayed. This required us to make a few extra trip to the chaotic Safeway in town.

The house was perfect for our needs. The kids all stayed in the addition with 2 queens and their own bathroom. We were close to town and RMNP. We even enjoyed the Rooftop Rodeo while it was in town.
Great trip and great accommodations!

Perfect house for a large family
The property is well located within walking distance to town and easy access to RMNP. The house had all the essentials for cooking meals for a large family. Plenty of room and comfortable beds. I will definitely rent the home again on our next visit.

Property was very useful and enjoyable. Open area a little outside of town makes for a quick commute to get necessary items and then be away from busy Estes Park. RMNP access to Lumpy Ridge and RMNP entrance gates are about a 15min drive making this an ideal base camp for excursions/rock climbs into the park. Property also has a game room/multiple common areas to ensure a fun/relaxing even with friends.

Good experience. Karine was very responsive. Home was stocked with all we needed for our stay.

This house was so well stocked in the kitchen with pans and casserole dishes that we are able to cook every meal at the house with the exception of 1. The set up of the house is perfect. The bedrooms are on the opposite side of the house from the garage so if ping pong gets heated no one sleeping can hear it. We would definitely stay here again!

This house accommodated our group very nicely. The kitchen had all of the supplies we needed and the house was very clean. We had a lot of fun playing ping pong in the game room. The game room was actually one of the reasons we decided on this property for our stay. The owner was very friendly and reachable, and always promptly responded to any texts or e-mails I sent. While the house is very nice, it does need some handyman work for minor things (towel rack in one of the bathrooms falls down, shower door doesn't quite shut all the way, blinds in one of the bedrooms are broken all apart, a few outlet plugs are loose, a window has a crack, etc.) But despite this, it is a nice layout and is kept very clean. We felt quite comfortable there and really enjoyed our stay.

There were 6 of us ranging in age 30 - 72. The house was just as it looked in the pics. Big enough for all of us to be quite comfortable. Kitchen provided everything we needed and grill in backyard.
The neighborhood is quiet and with beautiful views and close to shops as well as RMNF
We plan to return in spring.
Only one slight complaint was the mattress in second bedroom. Other than that it was fantastic!!

Talk about comfort. We almost forgot to leave the house at times! My now wife and I got married during our stay and our kids (3 & 11mo) had a great time utilizing all of the space! We were blown away by the accomodations such as high chair and stroller for the kids. The views were incredible and some wildlife even walked across our driveway! Friends/family also definitely took advantage of the garage space when the games were on. Loved it!
