Located in Bar Harbor, this lovely house for $449 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Five bedroom, three bath home in a secluded setting. Set back from a side road on a long winding driveway this newly renovated home is a great find for a large family or 2 or 3 couples traveling together. Located just off of Hadley Point Road, less than a ½ mile from Hadley Point Beach. This beach is a local favorite and not well known to the general public. A great place to beach comb, have a barbecue or launch your boat off the public ramp. This nice home is close to everything Bar Harbor and Acadia have to offer. Downtown Bar Harbor and the entrance to Acadia are a short 7 to 10 min drive away. Bar Harbor has many shops and restaurants to fancy every taste. Don’t forget to have a Maine lobster dinner while you are here! Acadia with its 50 miles of carriage trails and many miles of hiking trails is one of the nicest National Parks in the country. The scenery and views are truly outstanding and will give you many hours of enjoyment. After your day of hiking come back home to enjoy the comfortable lodging Bar Harbor Serenity has to offer. The open floor plan with the kitchen, dining area and living room give an easy place to spread out and relax. With one bedroom downstairs and three upstairs there is nice accommodations for all!

Property was as advertised and we really enjoyed the seclusion and quiet neighborhood. Watching deer in the early morning prancing around the yard was a real treat. Proximity to all the places we wanted to visit was perfect.

We were really excited to stay at this property. We were arriving during hurricane Lee and tried to shorten our trip for safety reasons, but the owner absolutely refused. Understandable, its a business to him. That was fine, we went anyway even though there was a state of emergency. The property was lacking. The lawn was not mowed, there were smoke detectors that did not work, the two exterior doors were covered in a black substance (making us not want to open them as we had kids with us), there were cracks in the ceilings and no AC downstairs with some windows not having screens. It looks like purely a RENTAL property with no pride and care from the owner. I would not recommend other than the location. We ended up leaving two days early, AFTER the hurricane just because we were so worried about the stains on the family room ceiling and whatever was on the doors. Just my thoughts.

Good house for families, very comfortable, plenty of room. Saw deer and wild turkeys every day, easy walk to a quiet beach - not sand, just small rocks, but lovely place to sit and enjoy the ocean.

We enjoyed our time - the house was clean and well stocked - we enjoyed the fire pit and the games! We had some trouble with the internet and could not get the Direct TV to work at all.

We reserved the house for us and one other family. Unfortunately due to a death in the family we were unable to go but the other family had a wonderful time and enjoyed the house.

We had a great stay! The house is close to the entrance/exit of Mount Desert Island. Bar harbor is about 15 minutes and it has easy access to Acadia. Lots of great food nearby and access to Hadley Point (water access but rocky). The house was great for our family. Beds were comfortable. It was very quiet. Kitchen was very well stocked. The only issue we had was really poor wifi and cell reception. Most of the time cell was better than wifi but we could not stream any tv without it constantly having to load and we were not able to do any work.

House was perfect for our family. Island Explorer bus was a short walk away and made getting to Bar Harbor and Acadia a breeze instead of driving. Area was private and beach was right down the road. Only complaint was the cleanliness of the house which I think could have been from previous renters.

This place was big enough for 4 adults and 3 kids. It was away from the hustle and bustle and a short walk/drive to a beach. It was clean and had all the kitchen stuff to cook at home. Internet is a little spotty, but we made it work.

The house was large with beds for all 9 of us. Location was great, an easy drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The place was clean, well equipped to make meals (lobsters :) at home. Highly recommend this property, and look forward to staying here again!

Kitchen absolutely stocked with anything your large party could need. They also have a small pantry with staples left by previous guests (flour, oil, sugar, etc) which was helpful to not have to purchase large quantities for our stay. Would recommend staying here.

Serenity is about 7 miles from downtown Bar Harbor, an easy drive. We appreciated the location right away as Bar Harbor is a very busy place, lots of people and lots of traffic, but the hospitality of the folks we met was outstanding! Lovely town to visit. Serenity is a large house with plenty of room for everybody. Make sure to walk down to Hadley Point cove. And keep your eyes out for the wild turkeys and the deer wandering around the property in early evening. We really enjoyed our stay in this peaceful setting. Thanks!

The house was large with beds for everyone. Location was great, close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. It was not as clean as I expected or like. Kitchen needs more pots that are appropriate for large family. Wi-Fi is poor and cell service spotty.

This property served all of our needs. We had an issue come up that was quickly addressed by our attentive and responsive host. The house is located in an ideal part of the island if you plan to explore all parts of the Bar Harbor area. It's off of a side street to the main artery throughout the island, and the street is bordered by an excellent lobster roll shack and a beach that's supposedly popular with locals. Highly recommend this property! We especially enjoyed the kitchen, dining room and living rooms areas which felt recently renovated!!

Our large group of friends gathered from all over the country for a long weekend of adventure, but we also loved our time at the house. We had space for all 10 of us to gather in the living room for stories, share dinner in the dining room, and play games in the backyard. The three showers even managed all of us well. Highly recommend this property. The location is wonderfully secluded and it felt like home.

The house is a perfect for a large family or group. Convenient location for exploring all of Acadia and short drive to Bar Harbor and Ellsworth. Hadley is not a traditional beach. it is very cool to be able to walk down the hill to see the drastic tide changes. Enjoyed watching some mussel dredging at the beach at low tide. We saw some wild turkeys and deer. Perfect for those who love nature and camping but need all the creature comforts of a nice house. Beds were very comfortable. It kept simple yet has everything that is needed and more.

Our family loved Bar Harbor Serenity! Check on was easy, the place was clean and had good amenities. Having Hadley Point beach right down the road was awesome as we could end our day with a beautiful sunset. We enjoyed the lawn and fire pit and had a few visits from the local wildlife including deer and a wild Turkey! Overall I would definitely recommend it although the secondary bedrooms could use upgrades to the mattresses for comfort. There is no central air however it was 80 degreees most days and we did not need it. We did use the window a/c units to cool the bedrooms. If you stay here you should definitely patronize the Rose Wdwn lobster shack, the Sweat Pea cafe and Bar Harbor winery which are all within a half a mile walk from the house!

We loved how close we were to downtown bar harbor and even closer to Acadia. The house was well equipped to make some meals at home. We were with my daughter and her family. There were plenty of fun games at the house to entertain the kids. Everyone enjoyed themselves. We also could walk to the Hadley point beach from the property.

This house and property were perfect for our needs (3 couples and 2 single adults). The variety of bed types worked well for our different preferences. Everything was meticulously cleaned, ample towels, fire pit great, couches comfy, and large dining table beautiful. The location is near a small beach, quiet and secluded, but only 12 minutes from Bar Harbor proper. My only suggestion is to post more pictures because the listing doesn't do this place justice.

A wonderful large house that had all the amenities we needed, was clean, nicely laid out, and was close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. A pleasure to come back to each afternoon after exploring. Saw more wildlife in the yard than in Acadia National Park - wild turkeys, deer, and groundhogs. The property manager was responsive to questions we had when contacted.

We loved being in a wooded area! It was fun to watch the deer come to the Apple tree in the back yard everyday to eat! Very quiet and not far from all the things available in town. Loved our stay! Clean and beautiful.

Great location relative to Acadia, Bar Harbor and Hadley Beach...sunrises and sunsets at our disposal. Had a family of deer (and a marmot) visit us every day. The house was fully equipped with all of the spoils of home. We had a great stay!

This house and property was absolutely gorgeous! We had a wonderful stay- all together we had 8 adults and 3 kids, and there was plenty of space for all of us. We loved the proximity to Acadia (7 mins), Downtown (15 mins), and Southwest Harbor (30 mins), and the location of the property off the beaten path and close to Hadley Point Beach was perfect!! The house itself was impeccably clean and is stocked with every appliance/amenity you could ever need. Highly recommend and look forward to staying here again!
