Idyllic home with everything you need

The house had everything you needed and more. Was comfortable and modern. Easy to find with the instructions given. Lovely front lawn for activities and spacious house. Willie was lovely and so helpful! Especially when we got a flat battery on our hire car - he came straight away. Very impressed!

It was great all around. Only thing I didn’t think to bring was a hair dryer but that’s all.

Great week at Serene holiday home

We stayed at Serena holiday home for a week.The house is well-equipped with everything you need. It was very clean and comfortable. The hosts are very helpful and easy to communicate with. The house is located not far from a popular Muri beach, supermarket, bus stop and a great burger place, which was very convenient. The neighbors were also very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay at Serene holiday home aging!

Beautiful stay

Relaxed comfortable atmosphere, comfortable beds. Very clean.

Outdoor couch for table needs replacing. Very hard to find property at night.

Wonderful stay for a family, would stay again should we return to Rarotonga.

Nice tidy home a few minutes walk from the Caps supermarket. Perfect stay for our family of 6. We loved the nice big yard, comfy outdoor loungers and double head, tiled shower.

from the moment we booked all the way to the moment we left communication with our hosts were incredible. facilities were as described and overall our time here had no faults. would definitely recommend this place to others and stay again in the future.

Meitaki ma'ata!

Lots of space for a larger family, great deck with Weber bbq. Comfortable beds and outdoor dining. Shower was roomy, tiled really nice. Loved having a washing machine and dryer too. Property itself is really spacious and secluded with a beautiful backdrop of the mountains. Serene is an accurate description.

Indoor dining was a bit lacking for when it's not the best conditions for outside. The local dogs can be intimidating especially at night time they roam around and can be territorial, one stole my shoe over night from off our varandah and I had to stealthy get it back after looking everywhere for it. Kinda funny on reflection. But does mean at night time if you want to get clothes up or off the clothes line for example or it can be quite scary.

perfect

this accommodation is outstanding for a very reasonable price. beautiful scenery surrounded by farming lands, neighbours are far enough away to feel like you have your own little slice of paradise surrounded by flowers and grass for the kids to run around on. close enough to hear the ocean in the night and feel the breeze on the huge deck, fabulous communications from the owners who were extremely accommodating to our needs, wifi is easy to purchase from the KAPS (shops are walking distance) so the kids could chill out to some Netflix after a long day in the sun exploring the reefs. beautiful bathroom and styling through out, easy to keep clean and tidy, comfy beds, aircon is available for a small extra cost which was a bonus because we didn't think there was any aircon when we booked and it came in handy on hot nights and the more humid days..... take a minute to look up at the stars on a clear night it is something we dont get to see back home it is stunning too. I could go on about how great our accommodation was, all our families that came to visit thought ours was the best so ill leave it at that we will book here again, 100%

10 days in paradise and in such a beautiful home! We absolutely loved our stay at this whare and cannot wait to return

The property was small yet spacious and in such a great location close to town and to all our favourite swimming spots. It was super clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were superb!

Was a TOP stay, location is quiet, view of mountains blissful & the walks on the back roads a joy!

Communication the whole way was great and we were met at the set time and walked through the property.

Lucky we brought our own coffee plunger :) but not a biggy.

A beautifully presented home in a nice, quiet location away from the main road.

The home is beautifully presented and provided a comfortable stay for my family and I. The hosts were lovely and attentive. The aircon saved us from the Rarotongan heat, we enjoyed all of our dinners on the breezy front porch. We would definitely book this home for our next stay, loved it! Lovely home for a Raro break

The house was lovely and decorated nicely. Was nice and private. Had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

Instructions to find the home were confusing as it is not on Matevera Road. After a phone call to the owner we managed to find it.

Wonderful and a private place. Very comfortable.

This place is wonderful. The house is very comfortable. There’s a washing machine and a dryer. Beds are super comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a store & a gas station 5 mins walk away. The bus can take you to the nice snorkelling areas or to town. You can fully relax here. Very private. We were 4 but there can be 6 people in the house. The owners are super nice and made our stay a real pleasure.

Excellent, Highly recommended to family with children!

Excellent place for a whole family to stay, big yard away from the road is safe for children to run around. Spacious three bedroom with open lounge and kitchen area access to the front and back decking, great view to the mountain looking from the deck at the back. Beautiful trees and plants in the garden also make holiday pleasant. It is much better to stay here than a hotel which is more private and large open area to hang out, we are comfortable to be here and feel like home. Friendly host and easy communication, we would definitely rebook if we come back to Raro.

Better to have a rental vehicle for easy access to local amenities.

It's like a home away from home - perfect for our family vacay

We loved everything about the property. Definitely value for money. The location is not far from the township. Superette with a gas station and takeaway a 5 min walk away. Hosts are amazing and awesome to deal with. Will definitely book again on our next visit. Highly recommend Serene Holiday Home!!!

Just the place to reset and get away from the hustle and bustle

The location, the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms, lounge and property were just what we needed. We were away from the hustle and bustle of town, and there is a shop close by if supplies needed topping up. We were able to host our family and friends on the large deck and cook up meals on the Weber, and oven. The breeze that comes through the home is divine but we also had the luxury of relaxing on the front deck on the outdoor furniture including sun-loungers. It was lovely to see families go about their work on their gardens and have dogs, chickens and roosters come visit. The food scraps were left out for the chickens and we were able to give some to the neighbour's pigs. Violet and Willie were very accommodating with our requests and we were able to communicate via the website, our cell phones and the landline.

The only difficulty was trying to pay using the Cook Island bank system. However, Violet provided another alternative which suited us both. I suggest this be given as an option as it will ease any frustration and both parties will be able to take into account the exchange rate.
