Really tastefully decorated, extremely clean , newish so absolutely no mouldy smells .
The breakfast situation didn’t suit us as we prefer early morning coffee in privacy of our room ..wasted precious travel time to get access to kitchen with 2 lots of other guests in very confined space .

I had wonderful stay! Mina is a fabulous host who welcomed me on arrival and was available for any questions throughout the stay. The rooms have been beautifully furnished, are spotlessly clean and have spectacular views. The bed was incredibly comfortable, good WiFi and tv signal. The breakfast was fantastic. Each morning Mina brings a basket filled with goodies that have been lovingly baked or packed. Waking up to the smell of warm croissants and fresh coffee was the best. There is a small kitchen area filled with everything that you need for breakfast and refreshments including a fridge to store things. There are take away boxes provided so that left over breakfast can be taken as a picnic for your travels.
The location is great. A short drive to a restaurant and cinema. Portree is a 10 min drive where there are lots of restaurants, shops, boat trips, etc.
I would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing, luxury stay.
Everything has been thought of for the perfect stay!

Well organized and welcoming. Excellent breakfast set up. They provided a variety of continental options. Fresh fruit, pastries, cold meats, and yogurt. Beautiful views. Keep an eye out for Charlie the Cat and their resident Otter. Would definitely stay again.
The roads can be hairy, but that's expected in Skye and not Taigh Scalpaigh's fault.
