Location is amazing. Pinnacle suite was nice with plenty of room for two adults and two kids.

There is no doubt that staff at the hotel are excellent and super helpful. From checking to breakfast, everyone was a pleasure to deal with.
We stayed in room 16 and unfortunately the corridor there smelt of damp as the bathroom.
We left the windows open while we went out during the day to explore.
Other than that, the decor in our room was beautiful and I would recommend stay at the hotel, and do check out the lovely roaring fire in the Bar area

The fist look may be disappointing, but once you realize this is a 19th century building you'll be amazed how well it looks inside. While we were there they were working on refreshing the exterior. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast not included, but since you're in the middle of now, it's a good idea to buy it. They have a continental buffet plus cooked options on demand. The location is beautiful, quiet, and at the crossroads of many hiking trails. There is a well stocked whiskey bar next sooe where you can also have lunch/dinner. If you need a taxi so you don't drive to a distillery tour, the staff can help you. Be aware though that taxis have to come from Portree, so you have to pay for their whole trip.

This was a fantastic stay on the Isle of Skye. The staff was fantastic, the room was huge. The staff was incredibly nice and the hotel had a great restaurant on site. Be prepared that if you come in midge season, bring your repellant if you plan to explore. The hotel is right by Sligachan Bridge so great to get out early and go hike to Sligachan waterfall, etc but be prepared for tourists after 8 in the morning if you're going in a busier season. Overall would recommend and would stay here again
