Burnside Cottage was not in the hustle and bustle of Portree making it an excellent location.
Wasn't aware we would be sharing a bathroom which could be inconvenient at times.

Very clean.
We have had Continental breakfasts before, but here it was above and beyond - couldn’t have wished for more - or a better variety

The breakfast was excellent and Zaneta was friendly and helpful. The setting is beautiful
Misleading directions. MAIN road is A87 Portree to Uig. Burnside Cottage is off B885, which is not the main road and not given on directions. Without private bathroom. Instead shared with others and across kitchen and hall. no night lights. Bedroom very basically fitted - you could feel the mattress springs. Entry was up slippery and unlit back steps. Disappointing at this relatively high price.
