I absolutely loved my stay here and I’m so glad I chose it. The location was perfect for me – peaceful, away from the busy tourist areas, right by the sea and with stunning views literally from the doorstep. It felt like a lovely little escape after travelling around Skye during the day. I had two great nights’ sleep and the bothy was really comfortable and cosy.
I initially thought it seemed quite expensive, but having now seen the prices of other accommodation on Skye, I actually think it represents really good value for money, particularly with breakfast included. The lady who looked after me at breakfast was an amazing host – so friendly and welcoming, and she genuinely helped make the whole trip memorable.
I drove around 12 hours from England to get to Skye and it was absolutely worth it. I’d happily make the journey again and would definitely stay here when I come back.
Very little but that said well laid out and cleverly designed! The only thing worth being aware of is that the bothy has some low ceilings/areas upstairs, so taller guests need to watch their heads. I’m 6ft and managed to bang mine a couple of times, although that was more my own fault than anything else! The ladder may also not suit someone who is uncomfortable with heights, but personally I had no problem with them at all. Neither of these things took anything away from my stay and I’d happily stay here again.

Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt für 10qm nicht. Es ist nicht möglich, große Koffer mit in die Unterkunft zu nehmen. Wir haben unsere im Auto gelassen.

Super nice small cottage. Slept upstairs with open windows, connected to beatiful nature around.
Very nice people and well prepared breakfast!
Perhaps small for cases.

All very nice in this truly memorable place. The bothy is an amazing 'tiny' space but not for those whe suffer from vertigo! 😉
