El alojamiento está situado en un entorno precioso, muy tranquilo y rodeado de naturaleza. Las instalaciones están muy cuidadas y, sobre todo, queremos destacar la limpieza, tanto de las habitaciones como de las zonas comunes.
Pero sin duda lo mejor de nuestra estancia fue María. Su trato fue magnífico desde el primer momento: súper amable, atenta y siempre pendiente de que estuviéramos cómodos. Además, es una excelente cocinera. Su hospitalidad hizo que nos sintiéramos como en casa y marcó realmente la diferencia durante nuestra estancia. ¡Muchas gracias, María!
El principal inconveniente fue que no pudimos ducharnos con agua caliente durante nuestra estancia. El alojamiento funciona con energía solar y, al no haber hecho suficiente sol ese día, no había agua caliente. Entendemos perfectamente las particularidades de un alojamiento de este tipo, pero creemos que es una información importante que debería indicarse claramente en el anuncio para que los huéspedes lo sepan antes de reservar.
En cualquier caso, María se disculpó con nosotros y trató la situación con muchísima amabilidad.
Por otro lado, aunque la habitación estaba muy limpia y era cómoda, nos pareció bastante básica. Algo más de decoración y algunos pequeños detalles ayudarían a hacerla más acogedora y acorde con el bonito entorno del alojamiento.

This is one of the most under-rated properties we stayed at on Sao Tome. It was so much better than anticipated - the building is relatively new, and the setting is absolutely gorgeous - surrounded as it is by lush rainforest. From the moment you drive down the driveway, you enter a world of calmness and peace. As such, it would be easy to spend several days here. The owner, Maria, is an absolute delight, who takes pride in everything she does - from the manicured lawns and gardens, to the beautifully cooked evening meal (the best chicken meal we had on the island was from here!). While the coastal areas are great, to be able to be in the highland forest for a night or two shows a whole different side to Sao Tome. A welcome addition is the newly installed Starlink wifi - as a result of this, we were able to stream a series episode. To get into the accommodation, a rough 2mile drive is required (off the main road), but it's nothing dissimilar to the roads down in the south of the island. To get to the Jardim Botanical from here requires a 35min drive. We would definitely recommend this accommodation option to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle of the coast, and rejuvenate in the highlands.
A minor complaint, but we found the 2 bed pillows to be just a tad too high for our liking.
