Great location à few minutes drive from Capelas and stunning views. Quiet and comfortable cabin, well equipped, very clean. Friendly cats wandering around.
Shower was very good - good pressure and plenty of hot water, but could do with new grout around the base. Slight drain smell at times in the bathroom.

Unfortunately there were a few problems during our stay:
- 2-3 half dead cockroaches every morning in the shower. We know that this is a tropical island and the insects are to an extend normal. But we were in 4 other houses during our trip to the Azores. This was the only place that had that many insects everyday at the same spot, so this seemed to be a problem with the design/construction of the house.
- There were some holes in the wall (e.g. under the sink in the kitchen and in the bathroom) that were not closed at all or only closed with construction foam. This probably added to the problem with the cockroaches.
- some plug sockets were without cover
- in the kitchen the water tap did not work properly. There was no real cold or hot water but only lukewarm.
- both of us were ill the day we had to check out. Therefore we asked whether we could check out 30 mins later. This was not possible. We understand that this is not always possible on a tight schedule. But when we left we saw that the cleaning started in a different house and not in ours.
