About this bed and breakfast
Holomakai B and B is a vacation rental with three bedrooms for rent individually on Maui’s north shore. Each room is on a separate floor with a private bathroom, ac, tv and Wi-Fi. The rest of the house, the entrance, fully equipped kitchen, living room and spacious ocean view lanai are all shared spaces with the other guests. Located near the start to the road to Hana we are ideally situated for exploring this side of Maui. We are on agricultural land and grow bananas and citrus. We provide a self serve breakfast that is available anytime. The owners live on the property in a separate home and are available at all times for questions and assistance. We are available for one night stays One other thing to note is that while we spray quarterly for pests we can get insects in the house. We also have gecko’s inside too. Loved this property. Beautiful location and the room was exactly as shown in the pictures.The common area was stocked well for a quick breakfast. The owner was always quick to respond to any questions. If we ever make it back to Maui I would stay here again.

We arrived late in the evening, but that was fine because of the excellent communication and clear directions from the owner. Room was clean, comfortable, bathroom had necessary supplies and breakfast was so convenient and delicious. Beautiful view, private and safe setting, so easy and stress-free after a long day of travel!

Great B&B in a quiet peaceful setting. Breakfast supplies are provided and it DIY so you can have it at anytime. Quiet, private and clean. Hosts were attentive and helpful.

We had such a cute room! We had our own private lanai (room 1)
The common area is nicely decorated and the kitchen is fully stocked. The upstairs ocean view is nice. There were games we could play, even a ukulele.

Our very comfortable room and the shared common spaces were bright and spotless. A nice selection of breakfast choices was available. The location is quiet and peaceful. A lovely relaxing stop after the Hana Highway adventure. The owner responded promptly to texts with check-in information and nearby restaurant recommendations.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in a lovely room, which was clean and stocked with beach towels and even an umbrella! There was also a jacuzzi which was an unexpected delight! The property is very well kept and the surrounding area is very scenic for relaxing or taking a walk. Breakfast was provided and the kitchen/ dining area was beautifully decorated including a picturesque view from the lanai!

This was a lovely, peaceful place to stay! The grounds are beautiful, the room spacious and clean, and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was ample and the deck was perfect for enjoying our coffee and breakfast. The host was quick with communication and gave us explicit instructions to make check-in easy. We only wished we could’ve stayed longer!

Howard's place was so beautiful and quiet! Better than the pictures depict. We were there a little before check in and they were very accommodating! It was a perfect place for our first few nights - close to the airport, the Road to Hana, and the North Shore towns. Breakfast of fruit, yogurt, waffles, and coffee was come and go as you please with full access to the kitchen if you bring your own food. The view and the lanai were so lovely! We would gladly stay here again if we come back to Maui!

We didn’t get to spend much time at the property, but really enjoyed it while there. It was clean, comfortable, and we enjoyed the views on the back deck while making ourselves breakfast and having coffee in the morning (which is provided at the property).
This property is also located right near the start of Road to Hana (mile marker 00), so it was perfectly located for that. And the host graciously allowed us to borrow a few towels to take with us to Hana, which we returned to him the next day. Great stay!

Our one and only regret was not staying the hole time here! We stayed at a different spot on the island each night and wish we had used it as our hub! Fantastic location, property, amenities and so much more! We even enjoyed a quiet walk down around the area after dinner!!!! Fantastic!

This was the perfect place to feel the peace of upcountry! The room was clean and decorated so nicely and the big tub was such a pleasant surprise!

What a beautiful place to call hime for a night or 2 on the east side of Maui! Pleasant drive down a gorgeous driveway … I’m totally in love —- memories of Bali…. Very easy check in- I stayed in unit 1 - didn’t realize there was a whole communal living area upstairs … gorgeous and well stocked with breakfast goodies! I also enjoyed the rocking chairs in my patio, reading in the chair and 1/2 and got a great nights sleep! Thank you sooooo much :)

Wow. We were so impressed with Room 1. We enjoyed a sunset from the porch and even spent some time wandering the backyard in the glowing light. We had coffee and breakfast at 3 am before heading to see the sunrise from the volcano. Overall, an absolutely wonderful stay. Even better than we had imagined from photos!

Beautiful place, super clean, cute, everything we possibly needed. The breakfast fois qas such a nice touch. I just bought a bew phone the night we fkew out and had problems uploading the vrbo app. I called the host about check-in code. He answered right away and helped me. The property was so beautiful as was the house. The bed and pilliws were super comfy too.

We stayed here on our last night in Maui. As described in the Vrbo listing, it's a B&B with a kitchen/dining/sitting area shared with other guests. Breakfast is do-it-yourself with an abundance of supplies provided. We enjoyed talking with other guests over breakfast, some staying here on their first night in Maui, and some using this as a base for their entire stay. It's in a semi-rural area but a fairly short drive to the airport and island highlights to the east, south, and southwest - with a glimpse of the ocean to the north. The setting is lovely, and our room was very clean, bright, and well-furnished. Communication from our host was clear and check-in was simple.

Couldn’t have been more easier. Finding the house down the Hana Road to get an early start in the morning was perfect. The room was luxurious as was the entire house! It was so nice to have easy entry on our own time schedule! The food provided for breakfast was excellent. Really could not have wanted anything more…THANK YOU!

Wish we would have had more time to stay here and explore east maui. The house was comfortable, clean and as described. Didn't see or meet the owners as we were only there for 2 nights and were exploring the area during the day. We were downstairs in unit #1 so we did hear the people above us but it was ok. The kitchen is nice and everything was easy. I would definitely recommend this Bed & Breakfast.

We stayed at this listing for the easy access to The Road to Hana (which is extremely close). But the location was also close to the town of Paia. Flatbread Company is a must go to. Amazing food ! We did a little shopping in town too.
Howard greeted us and gave us a tour of our room and the common area. The house was very cute and quiet and was a nice stay. Recommend Howard as a host!
